Rae hope that you join us as we would love to have you with us again. I am going to do the parasailing again if possible. It was a HOOT.

Eric tell everyone we said hello and take good care of Anja. We need her to keep you in line.

Congratulations on snatching post #100, Sharon - Ciara surely loves you for that :hyper:
That was purely an accident, let's hope she doesn't notice. Since it's been a few days since I've logged on and she hasn't said anything I think I'm safe.

I think we would also like to do the jet-ski your on CC.

I would love to swap photo...however, something is wrong with my CD drive. I had all my photos put on CDs and now I can't vieww them:( Guess I'll be calling DELL soon.

As with Cozumel,Costa Maya has so many choices for shore trips. I am torn! I would love to check out the ruins, but since we will be at the 2nd largest reef in the world, it seems silly to miss a snorkel/dive trip to see it!
I would also like to do one of the Dune Buggy tours! The horseback riding also looks like fun.

Eric,
The Jet-ski tour looks like fun. At 15 and 13 I'm sure both the older girls will want to go as well. Was there an age restriction? At $165 each there may be a cost restriction though.

I like the Cruisetoberkids name for the kids thread.

It's not $165 for each : Its ~$90 for a single and ~$165 for a twin.
If there is an age restriction, we could split the girls between us to enable them to do the tour.

Talking about the photo-exchange:
If anyone uses Kazaa or a similar P2P-filesharing we could easily share the pictures. I'll start working on mine this weekend. I burned 5 or 6 CD during the four weeks, so it's a lot of work. I'll spend Monday evening with Gramps again and promised him to bring the pictures. We'll watch them on his DVD-player.

Folks,
I will finalize the 1st edition of The List on Friday evening. Deadline for all entries is 6pm CET/Noon EST.
For those of you who didn't sent new stateroomnumbers I assume that you will have the stateroom again.

We're still without a motto and I'm looking for a Mickey Mouse in Mexican attire for the header. I only found a Donald so far.

Welcome, Rae......if I remember correctly, we may have a problem with there being enough shrimp for everyone else if we let her onboard!

Tracy: I would LOVE any photos you have on Hell's Gate..... with the exception of my backside!!!! Since I don't normally see it, I'm totally fine "not knowing"! No need to ruin what's been a perfect vacation! If you email them, I'll get my daughter to print them up. Or if you make copies I'll give you my address and reimburse you.
Thanks.

Renee: Do you really have a b-o-o-b-i-e in your photo?!!!!

Not one but two! They're a little blurry, but you can see what they are when you really look.

Can anyone provide info about the jetski tour at cc. Andy and I may be interested.

I forgot that some of us were on vacation a lot longer than others :teeth: Mine all fit on one CD and its quicker to burn a CD than to upload my photos or e-mail them. The water camera ones aren't bad, but the digital ones are all 4 megapixels. Even reducing them, I can usually only e-mail 2-4 with my e-mail service (unless I use my work account :p ) Same goes with receiving photos by e-mail, I'll max out my bandwith limits in no time.

Eric,
We'll be in the same rooms as this year. I just transferred my booking to my TA and he was able to save me an additional $200. :teeth:

Rae,
Welcome to this thread! I was thinking the same as Jean.....regarding the shrimp:).

Laura

Eric same rooms for us and Art & Cathy. Have to put my photos on a dvd as they will not fit on a cd. Mike

Dear friends - be aware that the Shrimp Queen can only eat a miniscual amount of shrimp since her second stomach surgery! (Long story dealing with GERD - acid reflux disorder and cancer scare - but all's well that ended well! Thank God!)

Yes, I am going to be a fraction of the woman you met a few years ago and the shrimp bowl will be safe at last for the rest of humanity!!!

I am so thrilled about seeing you all again. We had so much fun last time and I truly regretted missing you the years that slipped by.

Hugs to all,
Rae, Mom, Michael and Tom

Nancy: How do I go about switching my ressie to AAA? We're members so do I just call the local office? What happens next? Do I need to give them another deposit? Do I still have until 75 days prior to pay the balance? Will I get everything back if I cancel before the 75-day period? Thanks alot for the input. Also, I never linkled the ressies for dinner (unless someone else did it for us).....can I do that with AAA?

OK, golf was a disaster last night. I was part of a 3-way tie for last place and that's only because they don't allow the players without an official handicap to post higher than a triple bogey for each hole! Plus, I only got to putt on 2 holes since I had maxed out my score before I even got to the green on most of them. It seems my golfing is just about even with my line-dancing skills!

Jeanne:

I switched our reservation to AAA. All I did was call AAA,gave them my reservation and room # and traveling date. They called disney to confirm the information and did the transfer. The rep confirmed that I did pay the deposit already so no addl deposit was needed. It seems that AAA is acting like/or is a travel agency. The final payment still needs to be paid 75 days prior and in fact the rep said that prior to paying the final payment I should call them and they will call disney to see if there are any lower fares. I would guess when paying the final payment I call AAA and give them my credit card info. The documents are sent from disney to AAA who then sends it to me. I was a little nervous doing the transfer but everything so far seemed to go smoothly.

The only thing that AAA said they need to send to me at this time is something I need to sign waiving the trip insurance.

Do you want my reservation # to link dinner reservations?

Arlene

Ok, pm your ressie # to me and I'll do it. I also need Nancy's and Mary Jo's. Have you gotten a confirmation from Disney yet? I haven't which means I'll have to find that little card card I got from Donna......that may or may not be an easy feat!

We're leaving for New Orleans on Friday....it's the big annual convention for ophthalmologists so the city should be mobbed. I'm hoping to be able to catch some "drag queen" bingo....I hear it's a hoot! I also hear there's a casino just a few blocks from our hotel and I'm very much looking forward to my daily beignets and cafe aulait. After that we'll be done traveling for a long time and so it's right back to the South Beach diet once again. Ever since the cruise, I have been SO BAD........imagine, deep fried Oreos and the like! If Tracy, thought my behind was bad before, she ain't seen nothin'!

Eric - just sent you an email with our new stateroom number.

Work is crazy at the moment and will probably continue to be crazy til the end of the year.

Must get back to the piles of files. Have to clear up the backlog so that I can start dealing with the new stuff.

Me -
