Where is the sun????? Not in central PA ~ it's gray and rainy.

You need to come to southern PA, we have sun and warm temps, but is very windy.

The rain has stopped, just dreary now, better than snow or sleet though.

I'll be partially down that way in a few weeks ~ to the Carlisle Car Show with hubby.

We're back from Thailand
Kind of a temperature-shock: We had up to 38°C/100°F and now we have around 10°C/50°F

Talking about the gym:
We worked out once only in Bangkok we were too busy sightseeing and shopping -Although we swam lanes for 30 minutes in our hotel's open air pool located on the eight floor. In Phuket we went to the gym once only, but we snorkeled each day for at least 45 minutes and we had two very straining days diving. This morning we checked our weight and we didn't gain an ounce We had a big American breakfast every morning, but only had a banana and a cereal bar during the day at the beach. In the evening we had dinner at diverse restaurants, Thai or Italian. And we kept our alcohol consumption very low. I never had more than one beer, often had none at all and we only had two or three cocktails during the whole vacation.

Needless to say that we'll go the gym today - we already have withdrawal symptoms And I have to break in my brandnew Nike Shox I bought in Thailand for about $75!!!

Well we had to switch cruises. Long story short, we have some friends that want to go but could not get the week in October off and our son said he would like to go but can't in October, so we switched. We were really looking forward to meeting all of you. Everyone has been so nice and welcoming and I know we would have had a great time. Now I must go find the thread for the November double dip!

No April Fools. Southern PA has had no rain since Feb. We have bans on burning because it is so dry. It is even nicer today since the wind is less. Norm and DS#2 went golfing. So I have the entire afternoon to myself.

We had 2°C/36°F this morning, but fortunately the snow will stay further south. So at least we don't have to fret about Anja having to work the complete Easter Weekend - all four days!!! The weather will be bad and that makes working a bit more bearable, especially as I will most probably at the office as well - and also have to do our taxes that weekend.

Eric--- It got colder back in PA also. We had spring like weather for 4 days but much colder today.

Nancy,
on the way from work to the gym it was 9°C/48°F - sufficiently warm to drive with the top down , but in Bavaria it snowed. Our forecast stated that starting Saturday spring will come. We already got some green on the trees and some spring flowers showed their first blossoms.

We had fun and it was warm and sunny! Unniversal was ok, I am glad we went but once is enough I think. Emmerils was awesome!

Floods are getting worse over here. Looks like it will be as worse as in 2002 Even here in Frankfurt the Main started to rise. This morning the swans could already lurk over the banks, tomorrow the ducks will be able to do the same
