Ouch, Ave hope that things go better for you. Mike

Jeanne--- I forgot to say Congratulations to your son and his video production company. I will have to check out the yahoo site.

Now I am off to bed.

Nancy

Ave - Sorry about the extra expense. Hopefully that will be the only one.

Jeanne - Congrats to your son. I really liked the video.

We were at the game tonight and the Jays won. Yeah!! By a homerun in the bottom of the 9th too so it was exciting.

Off to bed now.

Fiona

Ouch, Ave!! That's a lot of money.
And are passports really that expensive in the USA? Over here we pay €35 for a passport with ten years validity, although this will go up as soon as we have to switch to those new one containing biometric data. When you're under 25 the passport is only €25 as it's only valid for five years.

Congrats on your sons's winning of the contest, but I knew he would win as he had even Europeans voting for him ;)

If the Radisson gets too expensive, we'll spend the night at WDW and take either a Town Car or a Luxury van from Orlando. But we would miss the pre-cruise party then :smooth:

Good news for everyone interested in the Harrison Ford Comemorative Chart:
I got the thumbs up from our CEO and can send you the PDF tonight.

So far it's:
-JeanneG
-Wendy

Please let me know ASAP when you want one, too!!

Is it just me or does everybody have trouble seeing the Smilies?

Hi Eric,

Sent you a PM.

Ave', that is terrible about the septic costs, why so high ???. We will most likely stay at the port, anyplace is fine with us.

Bye, Kim

Jeanne - that is wondeful about the video - please pass on our congratulations. However of course it should ahve won because it was the best one!
Ave - so sorry about the costs - that is really high but I suppose a septic tanki is kind of essential.
Eric - look forward to seeing the chart, and yes I have had trouble with the site over the last couple of days.
Nancy - I thought Lost was ok, I'll stick with it until I go back to school and then see if I have enough time.
Wendy

Eric -- I'm interested.

Still warm here but it should be a bit cooler today and there's no smog warning so far for today. Beer retailers are upset though -- beer sales are down this summer even though it's been really, really hot here.

Fiona

Just stopping in to say HI ...

Happy Birthday Andy ... the heck with turning another year younger!

Ave .. I'll get out my info on the contact for the Raddison and snailmail it to you.

Having been one of the (I believe only 3) families that were on the Cruisetoberfest I, CruiseEars, Cruisetoberfest II and Cruisetoberfest III ... I'll miss seeing my friends next year BUT we can still stay in touch thru the NET and enjoy our mini meets as we have before. Since this has been one of the worst years with health problems for Art and now it seems my turn for test after test....a chance at an 11 day DISNEY CRUISE was just too much to resist. We have never been lucky enough to enjoy such a long cruise and by next year we should be rearing to enjoy, enjoy. Unfortunately we can only have one big vacation a year. We know every family has certain time constraints and needs that they can't always change BUT we really hope you (our friends?) can understand ..... fate put us together originally and I'm sure we'll all sail again in the future. Now, I'll step off my soapbox!

I've told Eric ... anything I can still do for your guys, just e-mail me!

Eric--- Add me to the list for the PDF.

Wendy--- It takes several episodes to get into it. As you get more flashback information you begin to understand the characters better. 24 is still my favorite drama show, but Lost does hold my interest. So when does your school go back?

We bought our passports a couple of years ago right before the price increase. There was mad rush for them as there was a significant price increase. I just saw on TV today about the new biometric data that will be place on passport. I think they said it would happen in 2007.

Fionna--- In my area all the talk has been about Palmeiro. His suspension is up today, but the news said he probably won't be in the lineup until Friday. They were supposed to have a big celebration for his 3000 hits later this month, not sure how that will turn out. The Orioles have the bad boys of baseball right now Palmeiro and Soso (though he hasn't been caught yet). Right across the street is the Ravens football team of bad boys. Jamal Lewis just got to training camp after being released from a half way house for his federal conviction. Can you tell that my son's constant watching of Sports Center is rubbing off on me?

Nancy

Hi Cathy. Nice to see you posting. I'm glad to hear that Art is doing well, but sorry to see that you are now having issues. Take care both of you.

When both of you feel up to it, we can have a mini meet somewhere.

Hugs to both of you.

Nancy - Do you ever go into the Bob Evans' in York? My brother just got a Manager position and that is the one he is training in right now.

School goes back on the 22nd. I was in this afternoon to check emails etc and took home the marking I didn't get done at the end of term - my own stupid fault but there just wasn't time to do it then. Looked at my class lists for next year and one of my senior classes only has 9 pupils (maximum is 20 in science classes here) - sure it won't stay like that but it would be nice!
I think it will be worth staying with Lost - my favourite show is West Wing but we are a whole series behind.
Wendy

Wendy, I just finished viewing your photos.....they are amazing. Of course, my mouth was watering because about nearly half of them are of FOOD!!!!!!! It was like a recap of my meal at V&A's because every single dish I ordered was pictured (I guess they don't change the menu as often as they profess to!) That Kona chocolate souffle was every bit as good as the one they serve in Palo. I wish I could have one right now! And didn't you love the corn chowder paired with the dark ale? Enough about food.....
What was the occasion of that meal with the Tinkerbell lady? And what time did you arrive at DL in order to get in on the actual 50th anniversary. There were reports that people started lining up about 3 in the morning! It looks like your vacation was a blast.....I love the photos of Mum in her Nascar outfit!
Nancy: what episode is the Lost reruns up to? I saw the very first show and didn't like it, but people who stuck with it said it got interesting. Maybe I can catch up. Down to 5 teams left on AR2 (we watch 2 episodes a night). Is AR3 the one with that really ANNOYING older couple? (the one where the guy was a real SOB to his wife) If so, then I'm all caught up because I saw that one in its entirety.

Ok, the rest of you now know one of my passions is food - I waited to make sure others were taking pictures in V&A's though before taking them! Couldn't believe how well the ale went with the soup. I loved the soufle too!
Now to confess I belong to another disney website - Laughing Place. They have so much more info for Disneyland and always organise a big meet for the actual birthday. We went to it 2 years ago and were made to feel so welcome. This year because it was the 50th we had the meet the day before - a 4 course meal at Disneyland Hotel as well as a special awards ceremony. They invited people like Maragret Kerry, (the model for Tinker Bell) and the voices of Goofy and Pinochio. It didn't finish till after midnight and some people immediately went to stand in line - they got to wait inside California Adventures for part of the night. We joined the line at 7.30am - were through security and into the park by 8.45am. It wasn't nearly as crowded as we feared and we had a ball.
Mum's only complaint about the NASCAR racing was it didn't go fast enough!

jeanneg, sounds like you had a great time at WDW. Victoria and Alberts is on my list as a must do someday. My birthmom said she heard it was great and would be perfect with us because of our love of wine. Though I think I would be pretty tipsy too

Tracy

We are going to V&A'S Chef Table, Wine and all
On September 04,2005 After Tracy & Bill return From the Repo Cruise..

She Seems Pretty excited..

Would love to See the Photo's ??? Email us Here
Peter

All this talk about food and I'm sitting here eating hospital cafeteria food.

Wendy--- I would like to see the pictures, so I can drool over the food.

Made reservations to go to WDW the end of October so we can enjoy the Wine and Food Festival. Only DVC open was SSR so will give it a try. So now have 2 trips to WDW before the New Year planned.

Nancy

Got locked out of the email notification again.Dont know why this happens- is it a gentle hint? I hope not....

Jeanne--- Forgot to answer your questions. Lost was suppose to be episode 12 last night, but it was 14 instead. Not sure why we skipped 2 episodes. I read the recaps on the abc website in case I missed something.

Yes, AR3 has the older couple Ian and Teri. He really is an SOB to his wife. I would have to smack him silly. It has very bland group of contestants other than Ken and Gerard the balding brothers.

AR2 finish is very exciting. Has Will and Tara worked on your nerves yet?

Now to finish my very delicious lunch.

Nancy

Peter and Nancy - I have sent the link for the photos. I would have loved to do the Chef's table but you don't get the DDE 20% off there and being a typical Aberdonian the discount was too great to miss!
We did the F&W last year - what fun we had!
