10/12/08-4 night Wonder anniversary cruise

I forgot to tell you guys we have a new family member... Check out my website to see his picture..

Can you believe in just a few days we are at the 200 day mark.. I really need to start planning

Congrats!
We had SNOW on Easter yesterday!!!! I want warm weather to get here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:headache:

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter...I have been reading that the parks are not too crowded??? That is weird??

Hoping too see some reports from this week!

Bye,:flower3:

Add our family to the list!! We will also be on the October 12 Wonder cruise. This will be our second Wonder cruise. Our first was in 2003 on the 3-day.

We will be coming down 10/11 and returning home 10/19. We would like to do MNSSHP on 10/16 if that is an option, although this will make for a long day for us. We have done it on Halloween in 2000 and 2003 and found that you can get so much done in MK just on that one night.

Staying at POP after the cruise and planning on doing a little park hopping on Friday and maybe a water park on Saturday.

I'll send our info on to Renysmom.

Can't Wait:cheer2:

Laura

Is everyone getting excited??

Starting to nag everyone about dining reservations, MNSSHP, etc. I still have to decide where we are going on Oct. 8 for anniversary meal. Any suggestions, keeping in mind that DH is a very fussy eater and not keen on fish?

Renysmom, I noticed on your wonderful list that I have already been on a Dis cruise, oh how I wish I had been! Definitely a first-timer here!

Lauraljp, WELCOME!!!!!

Just checking in.
We are nearing the six month mark.:cool1:
Another ? for the DCL veterans. Is Disney worth the extra cost vs the other major lines? I've heard how much more "stuff" there is for the kids.

Laura I added your family to the site, Cathy I fixed your information....

I have to admit that I am spending more time on the cruise boards now, still trying to figure out a few things like exactly how many suitcases two people can check-in, how to pack for 2 days land, then 4 days sea, then 2 days land LOL, what excursions to do, I always overpack and then there is my camera equipment that I need to bring and I just don't know how to get all I need in one suitcase if we are each only allowed one.. Any suggestions? I know my carry-on will be my camera and lens and a few other things...Yes I obsess over the silliest things..

Say hi to your fellow obsessive! I'm still driving everyone nuts with character meals. etc. Haven't even thought about the packing for the cruise!
One more thing to pace up and down about....:headache: Where's a pacing smilie when you need one:upsidedow

Hi Gang!

I finally figured out how to put a pic on my signature. There is our new family member, Chico the Pug. Yes I tortured him with a reigndeer costume for christmas.

I am getting so excited for this vacation, can it start tomorrow! I keep reading all the trip reports and makes me want to go NOW!

Hello Kimiza, he looks very handsome even with the reindeer costume. I hear ya.....I wish we could go now!
Called bright and early this morning with my ADR's for our pre-cruise stay at Disney :woohoo: I tried for Victoria and Albert's chef's table but was beaten out by one minute for the night before the cruise but, did get a regular table and they said to keep trying until Oct. in case of a cancellation.
Only 180 days until we land in Florida  :dance3: :cool1:

NASA is still on schedule for lift off on Oct. 16 lets hope that continues.......I would love to see the Shuttle lift off while being at Port Canaveral.

Hello All!!!

Good to hear from people coming out of winter. Ugh! It's been horrible here in Minnesota. But good for my business so can't complain too much:) I too am so looking forward to the cruise and Disney in October! I will be down there twice in July, once for daughter's gymnastics and once for work convention, BUT IT'S NOT A CRUISE!

Is anyone thinking about doing the Aqua Venture at Atlantis? I just booked two rooms at the Comfort Suites today for our party of 5 on October 12th. I got a AAA rate of $157.50 per room. MUCH cheaper than the $155 per person DCL wants. We could always add up to 3 people for our 2 rooms if anyone is interested.

Oh well, back to work:sad2: It's raining hard and about 35 degrees here right now. Come on vacation! Will be staying at BWV after our cruise so will be making dining ressies soon:cool1:

Happy thoughts to everyone!

Amy

I've been wondering where everyone has been...Glad to see a few posting

Come on people time to get excited and make some noise.. Spring has sprung which mean summer will be here soon and we all know how fast summer goes and then before you know it..Cruise time!!

For those heading to the world before the cruise, don't forget your ADR window is now open.. For those after the cruise it open up next weekend:banana:

If I could just have some decisions about where they all want to eat...it would be helpful!:confused3

Goodmornin shipmates, anyone know when Southwest opens there flights for October? I've been checking every day and still nothing. We usually fly with Delta to MCO, they and Southwest are the only direct flights from Hartford.
Delta's prices keep inching up-wards with the cost of fuel, so I'm hoping when Southwest posts there flights for October Delta will lower there prices.

Anyone know if our cruise will be stopping at Castaway Cay twice?

We have 183 days until Cocktails and Dreams...........Oh and relaxation!!!!

Good morning everyone,

I am at work this morning dreaming of a Pina Colada and watching my daughter in the Mickey Pool.

So close yet so far away.

AmyM -- don't you need to book the Comfort Suites for Oct 13?

Renysmom -- please add our info to your site:

First Cruise; no celebration;
Diane (mom), Steve, (dad), Bryce, aged 7, Samantha, aged 7;
Adjoining staterooms 7040 and 7042

I was thinking of doing the same thing so I just wanted to be sure! The lowest rate I found was $175, however. Where did you find the $155 rate?
