Definitely Still here.. I can't wait till the 75 day window opens.. I really want to parasail. Hopefully something will still be open. I can't believe how fast it is coming.

Have you ever parasailed before? if not it is a blast and you will love it!

Just checking in. We are definitely getting excited. It looks like a lot of people have quit posting. I hope they are still going. 4 more people are going with us now, my cousin and his better half and their two children. That makes 15 of us in our party now.

Hi everyone!! Where did everybody go???? We are closing in on the 2 month mark and nobody is around.
We have booked our excursions and now just waiting for the cruise to get here!! Is it Oct. yet????

Hello Everyone! My name is Lucy and my daughter, Hannah, and I will be celebrating her 5th birthday on the Wonder sailing October 12th 2008 (her birthday is the day we set sail). It is the first Disney Cruise for both of us and we are very excited. We have had this cruise booked for some time now, originally in a category 5 but unfortunately had to downgrade to category 8 since her Dad and I have since seperated and he won't be joining us on the cruise. Anyway, any advice or hints that may help us out for our first cruise would be GREAT! I have heard that there is plenty to do for "single" parents and would appreciate any recommendations in regards to excursions, etc.

And, a few days ago at Target I found a pair of black shorts that have skull & crossbones all over them. I would normally not have any interest in them, but they might be perfect for a Pirate Party!

Hello Lucy!

Glad you found our thread!! Don't have any advice for singles but there is so much to do on DCL. This is our second cruise on DCL and we never ran out of things to do last time (3 day).

The only excursion we have right now is parasailing in CC. We like to enjoy the empty ship while in Nassau. We will probably rent bikes and floats in CC. Hope others have some good advice for you.

I am a single mom myself and will be on the cruise with my daughter (8) and my mom. This is my first Disney Cruise, but not my first Cruise. I have always been a single mom when I am on vacation, my advice just sit back and relax and enjoy, if your child wants to go to the kids club, then you get quiet time by the pool or enjoy a game of bingo or one of the other events going on. If your child doesn't like the club, then you get to hang out with your favorite person all day, it is a win, win situation!

Does any on want to split the cost of a room at Comfort Suite Atlantis???? Its just me and my wife, you are allowed up to four per the room, the room comes out to split is about $80 for two people. Thats a fraction of the price of what disney is asking for axcess to the waterpark. let me know

Promenade Meet & Greet

Hey alohabob,

lauraljp and I are definitely interested in meeting everyone. We discussed it and, while we wouldn't rule out that time/place, we were afraid that we might be preoccupied with checking out our room, getting re-acquainted with the ship, etc... making it difficult to make it. I might also be preoccupied with finding the Vikings game on a TV somewhere. Don't tell lauraljp. She thinks we're going on the cruise to have fun, relax and not to watch football .

You certainly don't have to work around our schedule, but I wonder if it would make sense to suggest a back up time. What do you think?

FYI, we'll be on an airplane two months from right now!

Two months from rite now I will be watching the Magic leave while eating at one of the restaurants at the port. (Grills, Rusty's etc.)

Brownbear, I'm lucky the Steelers are off on the 12th.
