19 weeks from today!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1:

Anyone staying in Port Canaveral the night before???

We are. We are driving down Friday and will stay at the Radission Friday and Saturday nights. We are doing Kennedy on Saturday because we have talked about it so many times but never did it.

19 weeks YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Man what a quick response. We must be getting excited!!!:goodvibes
We are staying at the Residence Inn. With around 12 of us, we got the 2Bd 2Ba suites. It was cheaper than single rooms.

4 months today!!!!!

Phoned Member Services yesterday, and was told "have a wonderful time" on the cruise!

Now, does anyone have a solution to control the endless lists I am making up??

WOW is it hot outside!!!:sunny: with the temps hitting 97º-100º today and tomorrow I sure could use a dip at Castaway Cay right now:beach: and a few cocktails.
Well we finally received our packet in the mail last week I was beginning to think DCL forgot about us.
Wow less then four months to go, time is starting to go faster now the summer will be over before we know it.

Just checked a popular travel website (don't know if you can use specific names on here) but they show all balcony & suites sold out for our cruise. I guess the ship will be full by the time we cruise.

hmmmm.. today is the 12th of June...so that means

4 months from today we are cruising

Reminder... If you are staying at the Radisson and want to use the free shuttle /parking service to get to the port, reservations for the shuttle opened today.. I just made ours..

We still don't know whether we will leave the car there or pay to park. We need to see how secure the Radisson really is and if it's not secure enough we will pay to park at the port.

Time to really start on the packing and shopping list.

Reny - We have stayed at the Rad twice and had no problem. The 1st time we parked in front of the hotel bacause they did not have the parking in the rear, and of course the 2nd time we parked in back. The 2nd time we stayed there though their shuttle was very disorganized and there were alot of rude people jumping on the shuttle before their assigned time. They packed us in like sardines. We are staying at the Residence Inn which is only .10 of a mile from the Rad. they do not offer free shuttle but it's only $6 a person round trip and it worked out fine. We have left our car at both places and it was OK on our return. Just a lil' info if you want.

4 month dance!!!!!!!!!:cool1:  :woohoo: :dance3: party: :dancer:

Hey Guys,

Just checking in, I just planned a last minute getaway for Friday to Virginia Beach to go see Billy Joel and I will be kidless!!! Weekends like this get me in the vacation mood. Then next weekend I go to Myrtle Beach. (I have been dying to use that banana)

I can't believe I have almost paid my Cruise off... just one more payment and all is good!!!!

Have a great week and weekend!

Kim

Have a great time at VA Beach, we were just there 2 weekends ago for sun and boating and it was a blast

Hi fellow cruisers...

Way back on this thread there was talk of us getting together for a pre-cruise dinner/drink meet and greet type thing on Saturday night somewhere near the port. Are there still plans to do so?

Also, Is anyone planning to bring fish extenders? I would love to buy little things to place in them but need to know who/what/ages etc. and I am not sure our cruise list (on my site) is still accurate as we haven't heard from some of those folks in a while.

Just let me know about both as I am starting to really plan now...

Have a great day..

Reny - I don't know if we will be doing the pre-cruise thing or not but we might go for something onboard. We have a pretty big group of family so we will see how things go. Where is a good place to find a fish extender??

Hi Guys,

We won't be able to do anything pre cruise because we will be at Disney World. But I am up for a meet and greet on the ship!

I am not sure about the fish extender yet, still looking for something to use as one. I am not very creative. I will let you know, if I find one, I will be doing it.

The cruise is so close yet so far away!

Kim

I am not very creative either.. I believe that there a few DIS's who sell them on Ebay and Etsy.... I will so some looking around.

We will be staying by the airport on Saturday so we would not be available for a Port Canaveral meet. We would be interested in a shipboard meet.

We are not planning of doing fish extenders at this time. I will have to mention it to my kids and see what they think.

I just made our final payment today!!! I want to be all set to make Palo brunch reservations on July 14!!

We are almost down to double digits!!

Hello every one!!!! Me and my wife are on the cruise and going to book at room at the Comfort Suites in Nassau for axcess to Atlantis Resort to use the water park. Its just the two of us and they let you have up to four per room. We are just going to get the room for the day. The room cost is $150 with tax so half will be $75. If any couple is interested let me know so we can work something out. I am booking it no matter what just seeing if any body else wants to go. Its a good deal so really its $37.50 a person, Disney charges $155, Atlantis charges $105 a person.
