Fiona ... My idea of golf is that it's a nice walk interrupted by having to chase a ball around with a club! To quote someone infamous ... "What's up with that!"

Renee' -- Thanks for posting the excursions. I'm sure many in our group will be excited to see them. Don't you think the Beach Adventure excursion sounds like our Pineapple Beach trip -- same driving time to get there, etc.?? (except more money & an earlier start time if you book the excursion thru DCL).

Fiona,

I feel the same way about golf. I just can't get into it. It makes me fall asleep!

Well darn I guess I can't talk you two into taking my place then huh?? They haven't set the date yet and I'm really hoping that I'll have a busy day that day and can't go.

This is more fun than golf :bored:

Don't let my DH see the Golf jokes! He is so into it that he even builds golf clubs. I love golf too....because when he is golfing, I get some quiet time by myself!! :teeth:

Thanks for posting the excursions. Does anyone know what time we depart Antigua? I thought about making Palo ressie that night.

That's my favorite part about golf also especially if my sons also go along with DH.

Made it back from Tampa. The city actually moved the parade route slightly so that the people attending our conference could leave. I left for the airport around the time the parade was starting. My gift to DH and DSons were Stanley Cup tshirts.

Back to work tomorrow:(

Nancy

Nancy ... Glad you got home from the conference OK. Hey, at least your guys got Stanley Cup T-Shirts out of the deal!

Hey Peter and Jenn ... shouldn't you guys be going SOMEWHERE about now? hehehe.

Hey Peter are you finished packing yet???

Can you really make golf clubs?? Have to admit though that I'd rather make the clubs than play the game.

A lot cooler here today and it was kinda drizzling this morning. Hopefully it will clear up this afternoon though.

Back to work. At least it's Thursday (which is almost Friday)!

Realized that we could start booking our PS for our stay after the cruise in July which makes everything feel closer which is good since June is busy here at work.

I LOVE GOLF!!! Neither DH or myself play or even watch but my boss is an AVID golfer....lives, breaths, sleeps...GOLF!!! Which means for me is that he is gone alot in the summer to do what he calls "turf inspection". Did I mention that I love GOLF!!!

lol!!

I don't get the "golf" thing myself...but when Dh sees this he's gonna want to go...........oh well.......guess he just won't see it! lol

Have you seen the thread on the main DCL board about the new policy regarding free soda on the Magic and Wonder? You can now get free soda at Topsiders, the Deck 9 drink station and just about everywhere but room service and the bars. The even better part is that if you have booked your cruise with AAA. you will get a onboard credit to replace the free drink mugs that AAA gave before the new free soda policy. According to the thread, we will get a $150 credit!!! That sure is more than the cost of 2 drink mugs. Am I happy? Yes!!!

I saw that also....what a savings for AAA members, but even so, my family of 4 will save approx $120 cause I usually buy the sticker/mug. Gotta love a bargain!

I also saw on the main board that the REAS pkg is going up in price, so if you want to book it you should book now.

LOL....I don't post for days and then when I start I can't stop!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I have to admit that I'm happy to know that I'm travelling with other non-golfers.

Mary Jo -- one of the other lawyers loves to golf and I have to admit it's great when he's out doing "turf inspection" during the summer.

Saw the thread about soda and thought that was great -- I now just wish they would have more diet drinks than just diet Coke.

Voicemail is flashing yet again -- today is one of those days. I pick up voicemail and hang up the phone to find it's flashing again, return calls and hang up to find it's flashing again. Ugh -- my to do list is a mile long and nothing is getting crossed off!

Fiona

Free Diet Coke! I think not! I keep telling my kids, it's NOT free, it''s "included in the price of the cruise". LOL
But I am VERY happy about this. Now I don't have to luge a case of soda on board. LOL
Golf, love it. But hung up my clubs when DD was little. Too many other things to do that are more kid friendly. But one day when kids are no longer wanting to be seen with us, DH and I will gladly dust off the clubs and hit the links again.
Mary, Please bring the Cat Stevens DVD with you when you come down next month. We can time warp together. I probably still know all the words to all the songs. Just need to shake out a few cobwebs.
videoman, love the dragon!

Later, Avé

Thanx Twinave...my DH keeps on changing our character so when I post I don't know what it will be!!!

Cat Stevens?? Was just listening to a bit of Cat Stevens last weekend w/a few friends of ours. (Along w/some other archives!):Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Ave, I will bring the Cat Stevens DVD when I come to visit next month!Looking forward to it. Still undecided if I am going solo on this trip or if I will bring the family. If I bring everyone we will have to plan a canoe trip!
While I enjoy playing golf, I have not played in a long time. I use to work at a resort where I could play for free (as long as no paying guest wanted the tee time), so I am spoiled and don't want to pay:eek: .

Great news about the drinks no longer being an "extra" cost!I think I will still bring a 6 pack of diet cokes, so I have a few in the fridge, but the best part is now there is more room for BEER!LOL!

Keb Mo concert tonight! I am SO excited! We are going out to dinner before the show. Kids will be home with a babysitter!!

Yeah it's Friday. :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

My SIL sent me an email this morning. She's set up a guess the baby's birthday and birth weight on expect.net(I think that's the website). Kinda neat. Since we already know it's a boy I'm guessing that it will be born on July 23rd and weigh 7lb 15oz. It's due on July 22nd but that would make it too easy for my DB to remember the birthday as it's his birthday. My DB is amazingly unable to remember any important dates. My SIL had their wedding invitation framed so that he would remember the date!

This will be the next big event in our household and it's hard to believe that it's just over a month away!
