Peter and Jenn, thanks sooo much, will definitely look for you (I'll be the one wearing the CruisetoberFest t-shirt ;) )

Eric, thanks for the update and hope you're feeling better.

Two-foxes, so sorry about your camping trip, but have to agree with hubby on the romance of the 4-runner, it is kinda sweet :lovestruc

Viking- I didn't get the list I got a newsletter type E-Mail. Is that the list?

The List is an attachment to that newsletter-like mail. You have to detach/download it, then use MS Word or Notepad to open it.

Hi Eric,

I did not get the updated list, can you send it to kjmcbride@attbi.com, my hotmail account id pretty full and may have bounced you out...

Thanks, Kim

Just forwarded it to you from my office-mail

So, the heavy rain cut our camping trip short. It was non-stop from the time we got the tent up....had dinner in the back of the 4 Runner....Tim thought that was appropriate as he proposed in the 4 Runner....what a romantic! Came home to VERY bad news, today. Two of our deputies who were headed back to the shooting range were in a car accident yesterday. The passenger was killed. The driver, who lives 4 houses down from us (they call our street "cop land"...but the neighbors love it) is ok, but not doing too well mentally. I feel insanely bad for him and his wife, and there feels like there is nothing that can be done. How many dinners can you offer to make? Just not good news.

Anways, October is on its way! Right?

Sorry to hear about your fellow officers. Even though this sounds awkward: It's often harder for the survivor of such an accident than for the deceased one. We have special emergency-chaplains/shrinks over here, attending the survivors and/or relative startings right at the accident site and then accompanying them for some weeks. They can be of great help.

Eric,
Thanks for the list! It looks like my daughters will have lots of playmates their age....10 and 6. Also, my son 13, is alittle outnumbered by the girls his age, but doesn't mind. On the last day of school, they had "peer awards" and he was voted the "most friendliest classmate" out of 100 kids, so hopefully, he'll have a few new friends (girls/guys) by the end of the cruise.

Kathy,(Mrs. Papa)
Are you retiring or going PRN? I currently work PRN in the newborn nursery also. The schedule works out great!

What excursions is everyone doing on the trip? When do we need to book them? Can't make up my mind since there are so many to choose from!

We booked the REAS pkg. We had our 15 yr. anniversary in May and decided that would be our gift to each other. I made my ressies earlier this week.

We're getting ready for our 1st trip to WDW (seperate trip from cruise). I'm alittle overwhelmed at all the info. I feel like we don't have a plan (I'm a planner) and we'll be at all the wrong places at the wrong times (is that possible?) I guess I'm looking at it as this is my first trip, anything I see is new to me, I'll do what I can in the time that I can. Just want to make the most of it. Most importantly, remembering that I'm on "vacation" :)

Take care,
Laura

Jill & Tim ... I feel bad for you guys. Maybe you should check and see if they have any counselors for PTSD. A long time ago we had an incident and got the counseling and really helped a lot of people. I'll be thinking of you during the next several trying days.

Hey KATHY ... how was your last night @ the hospital. (Working I mean!)

Well gotta get some work done ... darn, I'd rather be daydreaming of the CRUISE.

LITTLE REMINDER ... I take the first names and DIS names from Eric's listing when I do the name tags.

Kathy is still asleep. She has left the building Laura as it was a buyout from the city for early retirement to cut the city's payroll. She is now working full time for : Nurses for Newborns here in Nashville. Looking forward to the cruise more every day. Mike

Mike & Kathy -- Just looked at the Nurses for Newborns website. Sounds like a wonderful organization -- doing good things for people who really need help. Sounds like a great place to work!

Viking- Thank you. The link was right in front of my face. If it were a snake it would of bittin me. LOL :mickeybar :earboy2:

You took the words right out my mouth. :earboy2: :mickeybar

Just read about "Nurses for Newborns"...what a wonderful organization! My nephew passed away at the age of 4 from complications from twin to twin transfusion syndrome. My sister's obstetrician never even heard of this syndrome! Conor would be alive today if this obstetrician was aware of this syndrome. You can go to www.ConorsRun.com to learn more about this syndrome. My family, and Conor and all his family, were on the Magic in 11/2000, two months before he passed away. Conor left us with many wonderful memories from that vacation.

Kudos to nurses who dedicate their lives to helping save the lives of innocent babies!

DCL~Dreamer-

What a touching story. I have twin nephews who are almost 3. Conner & Cory. Conner had to call me today at work because he wanted to see his Aunt Susan. Now I come home and read about your Connor. I am sure his life has helped save many others...bless you!

DCL Dreamer -- Just visited Conor's website. How very sad and yet how wonderful that he was surrounded with so much love during his short life. Hard to believe that no one paid any attention to the bad feelings about the pregnancy that Conor and Patrick's mom had.

DCL Dreamer ... Just went to Connor's site. Beautiful story and sad too. Guess it's a good lesson that if you feel something is wrong ... keep speaking up.

Boston Pete ... What's going on? AshLee just got an e-mail from Bette and Kim's Newfundland asking for the name of a good lawyer ... something about being intimidated by a "Boston" Cocker Spaniel Pup that came into their home recently! ALSO ... are we going to get any pictures of the two new "fur kids"?

Poor Gulliver, he is still in shock over that little 4# ball of fur. He is limping now, perhaps it is post traumatic stress ???? That should be good for a large court judgement HA HA HA

I Will e-mail it to you right off... Can't wait to see you!!!

Bye, Kim

Folks,
I just sent you List #17 - Check it out.
No, there won't be daily revision until 9/11, but Jeff send his info perfectly formatted for the List, so it was a simple copy/paste-job.

Have a great Fourth of July-weekend ::yes:: :cool1: , but if this happens: :space: look out for a hidden signal in your satellite-transmissions :teeth:
And perhaps think of poor Anja, who has to fill in for a sick co-worker tomorrow and of poor Eric, who will also be at the office :(

Well Whoopee for me...

I just called disney regarding the florida resident discount. We were upgraded from a cat 10 inside stateroom to a cat 9 a room with a window. Whoopee...On top of that there was an additional savings in the rate and we still got the $200 on board booking credit which I cant believe. Last year we got upgraded from a cat 11 to a catagory 10 but lost the on board booking credit. We will now be in room 1040 which is almost across the hall from where we were last year. We would have preferred to me on a higher level just due to the fact that you have to take the elevators just to get to the back of the ship but its still good because we are right between the forward and middle elevators. and not a lot of through traffic.

I know it doesnt sound like much to those who are cruising in higher catagory rooms but it definetely means a lot to me. Its a great way to end a lousy week and start a long weekend.

Cant wait to see you guys even more now...

Arlene

Congratulations on you upgrade/discount ::yes::
I'm also considering to ask them for a discount, but I'm afraid that DCL could think I'm greedy :teeth:
