Hi !!

Why not come to NH for the week-end ?

Would love to see you guys !!

Peter & Jen will be here Sunday...

Bette

Renee....

Previous post was to you....We gave up on MJ...cleaning...bah......

Hate to bring this up, but since it will still be hurricane season some alternate ports of call may come to be. DCL is very good about avoiding potential problem areas. It might not hurt to look at other excursions and stuff.

Wish that we could do the repositioning cruise. Mike

Good point Mike, The unexpected visit to PR was nice, however it would have been nicer if we had time to " scout" out activities...

Would you have the time to research some alternate ports ?? I have no idea how to locate other ports for DCl to visit....

Back to work for me,

Bye, Kim

ok -- need the cruise now. Should have taken it this week that's for sure. Work is being well "work" this week without any of the fun.

It is :sunny: though and getting warmer so it isn't all bad.

Back to 'work'.

Fiona

It's :sunny: here, too  which is especially fine with a long weekend: It's Pentecost and so Monday is a holiday :bounce: :Pinkbounc Unfortunately Anja has to work Sunday & Monday, but she has off today til Saturday. Temps should touch 30°C/86°F tomorrow and Saturday.

Then it's just three days of work til Thursday and off we go :moped: to the Baltic Sea :boat:

I'll have a busy day tomorrow as I will attend a seminar. My company offers a special training done by our doc about 'How to take good care of your back/spine while using a PC'. It costs some bucks (My employer, of course :teeth: ) but it may be a good investment, as employees who have attended such trainings usually cause less sick days.
Unfortunately I have to make good for the time 'burned' by the seminar as my partner is on vacation - Overtime again :(

ok so I just looked at the weather forecast here and it now says that it's supposed to rain tonight. Yuck. At this rate we will not be driving to Florida we will be floating.

They did call the election here for June 28th -- thankfully there is only a 35 day election period here. I'm already tired of hearing the ads and that's all that's on the news. It is funny though that the Prime Minister has an ad on now that says something along the lines that if we want free (debatable with the new premium coming in) healthcare we can't have taxes like the US. The other party is saying that we can have free healthcare and lower taxes. Heard on the radio this morning about a book "Tax Me, I'm Canadian". Anyway I'm tired of the ads and couldn't imagine having to go through this til November.

Fiona, So glad the :sunny: worked!
It's looking like a beautiful weekend here in Fl. Relingtwin's DH and children will be here tonight.( Sister had to stay home and work :( ) They will be taking my DD on a three day canoe trip starting Sat. Mark has to work Sat. I have to work Sun. but Monday.........we are taking the boat out and relaxing all day! :smooth:
Eric, I give up trying to get you to remeber which one of us is which. You are just like the rest of my brothers. LOL:jester:
papa, forget about the cost of the RV, what about the cost of the gas to run it!:p
Not going to worry about hurricanes.... yet.

Everyone have a safe and happy weekend.

Later, Avé

Bette - I just sent you a PM. This sounds good to us so we might be able to make it.

OOOOPS

I hope the girls won't try again to feed the fish with George W. like the did from the roof of our diveboat in Cozumel :jester:

Remember the Cruisetoberfest I - motto: We ain't afraid of no hurricane. And if push comes to shove, we can always do a human sacrifice: i.e. Throwing someone overboard to please the gods of the sea :teeth:

Turned out that we just had a little sprinkling of rain last night. It is supposed to be nice and sunny all weekend which will be such a nice change. Temps are supposed to be ok too although not hot. Might actually get out into the yard and do some work finally.

Jays swept the Angels which was nice to see. We'll see what they do this weekend though. :p

Thankfully it's Friday. :bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Ave, thanks for reminding DH to call when he got to Fl.I hope the kids are having a nice visit with their cousins:bounce: One more work day and then off for 3 days, but with no family here, I don't know what to do with myself;)

Eric, I think the god of the seas would be very happy to get a VIKING!BUT...If we had to divert to Western due to a hurricaine it would be fine with me.

Fiona -- Glad to hear that your weather sounds good for the weekend. We are supposed to get a little cooler weather and possibly some rain which we need so badly. I might go in our pool if the weather doesn't get "too" cool. I don't think I even went in once last year which is ridiculous, especially with all the work and chemicals it takes to keep it up. Sam jumps in every day when he gets home from work and swims laps. Actually, I can't really swim very well at all. Hoping to move to a smaller house next year with a community pool where someone else does all the work.

Mary,
human sacrifices require a VIRGIN, not a VIKING - Kinda confused, aren't ya? :teeth:

We just got back from a shopping spree to a nearby mall where we found a mega-deal: At MediaMarkt (Comparable to America's Best Buy) they had a quadruple pack of Disney-DVDs for the ridiculous sum of €25.00 :earseek: The pack contained Pinocchio, The Rescuers, The Rescuers Down Under & Atlantis. The funniest thing was: On the next shelf they had the Pinocchio-DVD for €25.99:teeth:

Weather is GREAT over here :sunny:

Jeanniec -- Had to laugh about your pool comment. We have a pool too (although it's not open yet) and we weren't in it at all last year. I think DS was in it a couple of times. Dumb huh? Esp since we still had to clean it and chemical it. This year am determined to get some use out of it though.

Fiona

Eric the price of gas in this area is finally over the $2 a gallon for 87 octane. If DCL has to divert to key west on our cruise most of us have experience with the scavenger hunt. Remember Eric , brain wins over brawn:teeth:

Have to go fix some home made spaghetti sauce and garlic breadpirate: Mike

$2.13 a gallon just north of Boston,

I found the place that was $1.99 a gallon i think it was one part water lol.
