I got an $18 check from some silly group lawsuit for something, can't even remember. Put two more bucks in to make it a $20 bill Plus I put in another two weeks of my "$10 a week for Mickey" so I added a total of $40 today, yay!

What city is in doTN. I live in Chattanooga and 4 centers to turn in cans. I don't make a lot of money on them but it does by for goodies for the kids while on vacation. I tell you some good ones in Chattanooga to deal with.

I live up just north of Nashville. I know there is a center in Clarksville and Nashville. I also know there is a small on here in town, but I'm going to have to drive by there and find out their hours. They are NEVER open when I drive by!! LOL I know I won't make a ton, but a little is better than nothing and my son gets a wonderful feeling of helping to clean up his community! Thank you for thinking of me, though!!

I starting couponing for Disney and savings the beginning of Jan. We are going in August. When I get gas I always pay cash and the extra 5cents a gallon I put the money in a jar when we get home.
I use coupons now where I never did before and put that money in.
BUT my big savings came when I started looking over by bills. I was able to cut $36.99 off my cell phone bill a month. never used as many mins as I had so that was reduced. and my daughter got a newphone so her old droid sits in a drawer so I canceled the insurance on my droid because if it breaks I can use her old one.
this week I will try to attack the cable company and let you know how I make out...

Well I started selling on Amazon a couple weeks ago and actually doing pretty good. I went through the entire house and then my craft room and was surprised at how much some of the things I had to sell were selling for. Which considering how much I spent on my craft stuff I shouldn't have been surprised. And just think I have been able to save this much without touching our paychecks which I can't do until after February.

I sold some PS3, DS, XBOX 360 and Wii games, a new bluray player we didn't need, dvds, some monster high dolls girls got for xmas and already had, 2 different scrapbooking die cutting machines, scanner, a binding machine and a few little scrapooking items.

Since most of my trips have been planned at least a year in advance and I have plenty of time to save, I'm running behind for our now planned 4-night trip in the middle of April. (2 Adults/Value Resort/QSDP/4 Day Park Hopper)

Looking at a total of $1500 for Disney Package (2 Adults/Value Resort/QSDP/4 Day Park Hopper) plus another $400 for flights, so I'm wanting to save $2000 in 83 days or $24.09 per day. Unless a miraculous free dining or sweet room code comes out between now and when I book at the end of next week. (Fingers crossed!) When I book, I'll use our Disney Visa but want to have it paid off before we leave. (I hate the idea of credit card debt)

The good news is that my husband has a conference at Disney World!
The bad news is that it's in December, not September like I had planned.

But the good news is that it gives me 2 more months to save!
The bad news is that it's at the Contemporary and I wanted to stay at the Boardwalk.

The good news is that conference rooms are deeply discounted (even better than AP rates!).
The bad news is - have you ever looked at the rack rates for the Contemporary Tower?!!! Even with a discount, they're still pretty expensive!

But the good news is that we will be there for the Christmas decorations!
The bad news is that they will probably be taping the Christmas parade that weekend (bigger crowds and the MK is a mess).

The good news is that it is considered one of the less crowded times of the year.
The bad news is that the weather can be unpredictably cold and wet. And it will be Pop Warner weekend.

But the best news of all is that I'm going to Disney World!

No more money added to my savings this week. I still have $1687 to go!

I just purchase another $1000 in Disney Gift cards. Only $2,262.89 left. Plus my DH was able to fill up his gas tank for free by buying the gift cards so I will save that amount budgeted to put towards another gift card. I almost have $25 earned via SR for a Disney Gift Card. I also have bought the kids each a $15 gift card for Valentines day. My mom is going to buy them each gift cards as well for Valentines Day and Easter so they should be set on spending money.
