1 vs. 2 nights for local visits

We are moving to FL in June and I want to plan some weekend trips. We live an hour, maybe an hour 30 min with heavy traffic, away. Would you rather go for 1 night every other month or go for 2 nights 2-3 times a year?

1 night is never enough, if you're retiring make it 3.

One night is doable but.... 2 is better than 1. You can still enjoy the resort until room is ready.

We moved to SW Florida about 3.5 years ago. The last first last minute trip we took was one night and it was too short. Since then we usually do three or four night trips. Check in is after 4PM and many times you don't get into the villa until after 4PM. Then you have to be out by 11AM.
