I have posted this on the uk board but thought i'd put it here aswell to see if there was more replies.

How do you guys all plan your days at disney?

Do you stick to 1 park each day or do you generally split halfway through the day?

Last year, we did one park each day, and this was the only way as we were staying on I Drive and transportation was by bus.

This year I'm thinking, as we're onsite, we should do the early entry park first thing, have a break midday/early afternoon and then move to one of the quieter parks in the afternoon/evening.

We will still do universal etc. as 1 park each day but thought it may be better to split up the disney parks.

Does anyone who splits the parks up find that you tend to do all the best rides the first day and when you go back, you're left with all the not so good ones? I know there's nothing to stop you going on the good ones again and again, but just wondered what opinions everyone has on doing the parks like this.

We won't have a car this time either, and we're going in september (6th) , the day after labor day so it shouldn't be really busy.

Thanks

:teeth:

If we are getting up early and staying out late we split the parks...returning to the resort for a mid-day break.

Sometimes we return to the same park...usually we do this with Epcot since its sooooo big.

Regarding attractions - we find that it takes 2 daysto get in all the shows at the Studios and Epcot. We always do our favorites on the first visit though! We love Millionaire so we do that several times.

We do a little of each. If we're doing an EMH park, then we'll skip to another park after our break. AK is a half-day park for us, so we skip to another park after our break on AK days. Other than that, we just decide while we're on our afternoon break if we want to go back to the same park or someplace else for the evening.

Except for AK, we end up going to each park several times, whether it's twice in the same day or half-days on separate days. Usually on our first visit to a park, we try to hit all the big rides. Then, on return we do a combination of things we skipped the first time and returns to favorites.

It's not a matter of being left with the "not so good ones" as much as it is a change of pace as the week goes on. The longer we're there, the more relaxed we become and the less anxious we are to see and do everything right that second. The more times we go to WDW, the quicker we get to the "stop and smell the roses" stage of the trip.

We generally start out in one park and end the day in another. We feel it makes the day longer if we spend the entire time in one park. It helps to refresh us when there is a complete change of scenery. If we have started our touring from left to right the first day, we go right to left the second day, especially in Epcot.

We go for longer trips so our first 4 days we spend the whole day in one park. After that we usually split the parks and it really depends on the parade and fireworks schedule. We will head to the MK for the moring and afternoon parade then hop n the monarail and go to EPCOT for dinner and Ill. We find this works out good. We have so many places we like to eat so if we are craving a certain place we just hop on Disney Trans. and go to that park. I find it a lot easier using their trans. then taking a car. HAve a great time
