My wonderful MIL will be taking the kids one night so we can one night by ourselves!!!!What should we do? We've never been to WDW. Something romantic would nice.

Several ideas, based on where you are staying. Going via boat for any location is wonderful at night.

If close to Downtown Disney, boat from PO, dine at Portobello Yacht Club, then catch the first comedy show at the Comedy Warehouse, then jump to The Adventurer's Club for the best fun at WDW.

Or try Boardwalk. Dine at Flying Fish then stake out a table at Jellyrolls for really fun dueling pianos, or take the boat back in to Epcot, get a glass of wine and watch the fireworks from France.

Dinner at upstairs France, Bistro de Paris is very romantic, then stroll Epcot and enjoy the "adult" things, like watching the sugar sculpture in Japan and riding Fast Track until you're sick.

Or, get the first seating by a window at California Grill then take the monorail or boat to Magic Kingdom if it is open late and just stroll around and watch the fireworks, boat back and get dessert at the Grand Floridian.

Or boat from Boardwalk or Swolphin to MGM, eat at the Brown Derby and see Indiana Jones at night. Stroll back on the lighted path.

We've done them all, and loved each one.

Have dinner at the California Grill, then watch the fireworks. If you can time it right and get a window seat, that's fantastic! Even if you can't get a window seat, the view from the observation deck is great!

Ohana at the Polynesian (sp?) is great as well, if you time it right and have a good window seat you can see the water pagent and fireworks from the magic kingdom. We also like to get pastries in France and watch illuminations at epcot.

Thanks for the great ideas!!! We haven't made reservations yet, waiting for discounts. We are staying on site. hoping for a nice hotel, but if no discounts we'll stay at the all stars. Thats right we're cheap!!!!!!

My parents took my DD last Monday so we could have a night out. Since we are local, but wanted to make it special, we got a room at PO-R, and after eating at Captain Jack's at the Marketplace, headed off to Pleasure Island. We had the BEST time! We really enjoyed the Comedy Warehouse, the Adventurers Club (make sure to go at the later times), and the Rock and Roll Beach Club! We closed them down that night... and were still up for EMH at MGM the next day, raring and ready to go!

Have a great time!:)

We had 1 night in WDW alone last year and we had dinner at the Kona Cafe, took a stroll down the path to the wedding pavillion, then went to ESPN & Jellyrolls on the BW.

Hopefully if things go according to plan, my mother will be joining us on a trip next year over our anniversary and she offered to watch the kids for us that night. If so, we (or I should say I ;) ) have narrowed down our dinner choices to Palio or Yachtmans Steakhouse, followed by another night at Jellyrolls. We really had a blast there.

In October, my DH and I got one night alone as my mom kept the four boys back at HIFS. (What a great mom!)
We went to the Flying Fish on the Boardwalk and had a great meal (Speaking of being cheap, we shared an appetizer, entree and dessert and had plenty to eat. It was still around $50-$60 or so.)

We then walked along the boardwalk, and after that, we headed over to Pleasure Island. Went to the Comedy Warehouse and the Adventurer's Club. Could have stayed there all night. We finished up with a snack from one of the little shops there at PI.

It was a great evening as well as being pretty inexpensive. Enjoy your night!
