1 more for dinner ADR already made

Any suggestions other then canceling - I made a ADR for Le Cellier long ago party of 7 and my brother has decided to join us at WDW for a few days, 1 being the night of the ADR. I called to see if we can increase the party of 7 to 8 and was told no - no reservations available. Any suggestions? Should I keep calling not sure what they are checking a res. for 1? Glad he is coming to visit just bumming that the only ADR we made for 10 nights may have to be canceled or leave him at the resort

When we were in a similar situation Disney Dining suggested that we bring along the extra person and ask at check-in if they could possibly seat 1 more at our table. It worked for us. My guess is that most tables that would accommodate 7 can also accommodate 8. Good luck!

The same worked for us at CRT for dinner. Every phone call gave us a negative answer, but showing up and asking worked!

Same here- just show up!!! We had an extra for our entire trip last time, and were told NO when we callled. We were able to add the extra person to EVERY ADR!!! The reason they say no, I was told by the CM at Chef Mickey, is because the only way to add a person to an ADR is to book a new one, which is near impossible close to the date. But most of the time they can add a chair to your table.
