I was already considering APs since we are now DVC, but am wondering if I can take our left-over 1-day tix (from free dining times) and ALSO apply that to the AP. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks so much!

We have done this several times with no problem. The last time we did it was in October. We were at MGM, so did it at the inside guest relations. I had a one day ticket, DVC member and was renewing my current AP. The CM's just pull up the screen with the price of a DVC renewal on it and apply the value of the one day ticket ($71) and you pay the remainder.

I looked ito doing this, but I had 5 pluses on the tickets, the agent said its worth it to keep the tickets and not turn them in because those pluses are good forever. they dont give you credit for the pluses if I understood her correctly.

I just did this on Monday with my leftovers. For 3 adult DVC APs, it ended up costing me $769.98 after the deduction of the one day "free dining" passes.

eta that this was a renewal of an annual pass, not a first time purchase. I think it's a 15% discount on the renewal?? It also took two people, plus a phone call to someone else and a total of about 30 minutes to get it done.

Wow, that is terrific! I have several tix from years ago with just pluses that we're hanging onto, but I hate having a 1-day +nothing pass, so crediting to an AP with a DVC discount is great!

Thanks again! I'm loving DVC and we haven't even been home yet..
