First let me say how much I LOVE these boards! We are going to Orlando June 30 - July 5 (I know YIKES - 4th of July weekend)!! Not my choice but - hey I'll take what I can get. While the guys golf I get 1 day at the Magic Kingdom. I've never had to purchase just a 1 day ticket before and am trying to avoid the ticket lines at the park. Can I purchase a 1 day ticket on line somewhere? Forgot to mention we are staying off property and their advise is to "purchase on-line".

You can purchase it directly from Disney on line, but then you'd have to pay shipping. There aren't any discounters who sell 1 or 2 day tickets. But there's no real reason to buy it on line. Just show up at the ticket window and buy your ticket, go through the gates and have fun!

Maybe I'm not seeing it but it looks like you can only by 3 day passes on-line at the Disney site -- maybe I have to access it another way?

Even on busy days the lines to purchase tickets aren't that bad, the TTC has a couple self service kiosks available that have very little to no lines. Use credit card/debit card and you should be done in in a few minutes using the self service kiosk.

I am seeing the option to buy one day tickets on wdw.com, not sure why it's only showing you 3 days and above. I went to the main page rolled over tickets and packages in the top right hand area, then clicked on the link for Buy Park tickets, its the 4th one down and it took me to tickets with options from 1 day to 10 days.

In all the times I have been at rope drop at any of the parks I think I only recall seeing maybe 10 people total over a week at the tickets booths.

Maybe I'm just not noticing them but I bet 97% of the guests at a park at any given day already have a ticket in hand before they get there.

Also if you have time you can buy one at two different locations at DTD. One is at Disney Quest the other somewhere in the Market Place.

You can purchase the ticket online - BUT - will you have enough time to get it mailed to you without paying $$ for expedited shipping if you leave next Thursday? Your only other option is to pick it up at Will Call - which will have the same length of line as buying a ticket at the park.

I've never seen a line more than 3-4 people deep at the ticket windows. Actually, I'm not sure I've even ever seen that many in line. I purchased a 1-day ticket last year & walked right up to the booth with no waiting. Took about 2 minutes tops & I was on my way! The line at bag check & at the actual turnstyle will be much longer than the one to buy the ticket!

Enjoy your day in MK!
