1 day easy car rental ?

It looks like we may end up flying for our next trip. The problem is that DH wanted to head to Cocoa Beach to go fishing one of the days we are there. He is willing to give up the fishing trip to make things easier and let us fly but I would love to surprise him and still let him go on his fishing trip. Is there an easy, cheap way we could get a rental car for one day of our trip? TIA

The easiest way is to rent a car at the Car Care Center on grounds. It may not be the cheapest but it is the easiest. The shuttle will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the CCC. It will also bring you back to your hotel when you return the car.

We did a one day rental at Dolphin in 2004, wasn't much more than $50 then, I'm sure it's more now.
