I'm sure you must need to write down lots of notes for the vacationers with you.

Cute binder! I really like how it is small and travels easily! :thumbsup2

Thanks Jackie. Since I have had it for a few years now & I tear out the pages after each trip it is getting smaller & smaller.

Congrats on Cody achievement!

Great travel binder. You have as many notes as I do! hehe I have started my binder but ran out of page protectors and need to buy cool or create disney inspired dividers. I need to go shopping..

oh and I love the colorful note cards!

Congratulations to your son! What an honor!

I love your notecards. I am going to steal that idea from you. I always have everything printed on paper but that would be so much handier!

I took the colored index cards from my sons room. I figured they were better than the plain white ones I used to use.

Congratulations to your son! What an honor!

Yeah it is handy as I only have to carry the cards & they go right into my hipster no problem. I sometimes cover them with clear packaging tape so they do not get all bent & torn.

My cat is not so sociable either. He cries and makes crazy noises if there is an occasional other animal outside.

Congratulations to Cody for making such good grades. Jill and Trent were both in the regular Honor Society, and it does make a parent proud to see that baby who is in the process of growing into such an incredible grown-up.

Do you have a Habitat for Humanity program near you? I've always thought that would be a good cause to be a part of.

The noises that come out of Willow sometimes is so funny. She sounds so tough but she really isn't.:rotfl: I think she knows they can't get to her so she acts tough.

We do have a Habitat for Humanity program here. That is a great idea. They do some great things for families. We also have a food pantry in town that Ryan has bought can goods for in the past for community service he did when he went to a private school. We will be checking these things out. There is also working with the younger kids in the soccer program & teaching them things so we shall see. I am sure whatever he does it will be rewarding.

Evening Doreen !1Just checking in from work !!!

Hi Rosie. Hope you had a good day. I took an extra long lunch today & spent it with my friend Angie. It was the first day since her husband died that she was alone most of the day. Her daughter Jessica went back to college yesterday & Alex went back last week. Angie is taking this week off & then will be back next week. It was rainy & dreary here today so I went over to keep her company for a few hours. She sounded very down when I called her earlier in the morning so I knew that I had to go over. Then after work I went to the gym & now I am ready for bed. Have a good night (or what's left of it).:)

Congrats to you and your son. You must be so proud :goodvibes:

I also like your notebook. Very cute and the colored index cards are awesome. Can't wait for the next installment!popcorn::

Thanks. We are very proud of him.:goodvibes

Yeah I like the colored ones better than the plain white ones.

Next installment coming right up...

I thought I would start posting our plans for each day. We leave on Sunday May 22nd. As I mentioned before our flight leaves Boston at 6:39 am so we will be getting up around 3:00 am!! Hopefully our flight will leave on time & we will arrive in warm & hopefully sunny Orlando at 9:40 am. Last year our flight landed 20 minutes earlier so maybe we will be lucky again this year.

We hired Ed Korgan to bring us to Hard Rock Hotel so we will need to get our luggage & then we will be on our way. Hopefully we should get to HRH around 10:30. I do not expect our room to be ready as we will be there before the checkout time so we will check in & leave our things with Bell Services. Not sure how I am going to leave everything in my carryon (mousekeeping envelopes, money, etc.) I will probably move it into a suitcase & lock it up.

Our first mission will be to head to IOA & take a left & ride The Hulk. Everyone is very anxious to ride this. Me-I am a little nervous but I do want to ride it. We will then do Dr. Dooms Fearfall. I will sit this one out. I don't mind ToT but this is higher & I really don't want to do it. We will then ride Spiderman which I heard is a great simulator ride & work our way around the park. I plan on having lunch at Mythos sometime probably after riding Spiderman. If you are staying onsite you get first dibs on a table but I may make a reservation the day before. It is a very popular place to eat.

The park is open until 8:00 that night & I want to get the most out of our day but we will be up early & I know I will be tired. I am going to make dinner reservations at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville for 6:30. I do not want to eat too late. I would love to check out the pool when we get back to HRH but not sure how tired we will be. This may be the only time to check it out because we will be back in the park on Monday & we will be getting picked up
at 3:00 & everything will be packed so I would love to take a swim on our first night. We shall see.

So these are our plans for our arrival day. How does it sound???

I'm really excited for your trip to Universal! I can't wait to hear all about it.

I was wondering the same thing about leaving valuables with bell services. I don't have our flights booked yet but if we arrive before our room is ready, I'm not sure Tim will be willing to leave his laptop... I'm thinking we might need to pack a small rolling suitcase as one of our carry ons so we can lock up the valuables since we'll be using ME and won't have our checked bags yet.

Plans sound great Doreen !!! Carol and I are eyeing Universal for a Free Trip next year!! I may have to hide that from Judy and the kids as they have never been !! I will be watching for your TR on this ..hint hint !!:rotfl2:

Sounds good! The Hulk looks way more intimidating then it really is. :thumbsup2 Spider-man is great too! BTW you just made me want to make sure to make a res at Margaritaville!

If I remember correctly, the pool at HRH is awesome. I think that is the one that has a bunch of underwater speakers so you can hear the music underwater. That was a really cool thing to experience if you get the chance to check it out!

Your trip seems like it is quickly approaching! :woohoo:

Wow, it sounds like a great day! I am so anxious to hear all about Universal. DH would love to go there.

Not sure I could handle all those thrill rides. You are a brave lady! :worship:

Margaritaville---yum, yum!!! :thumbsup2 We love that place. We may have to sneak over there one night this summer.

Yeah Jeff & I both have a small rolling suitcase that we pack most of our clothes in & carry it on so I think we will be bringing a lock with us & lock one up.

I will take lots of pics!! That would be great if you went for your free trip.:thumbsup2

Glad to hear the Hulk looks more intimidating then it really is. I don't mind going upside down so I should be ok. It's steep drops that I don't like. I am anxious to try Margaritaville!!

Oh I remember reading about the underwater speakers somewhere but I forgot about them:laughing:. Now I definitely want to try out the pool!

The trip is fast approaching but not quite fast enough!!:)

Glad to hear you love Margaritaville:thumbsup2. We cannot wait to try it. I think the music & atmosphere will be great.

I am not too brave.:rotfl: The older I get the less brave I get. I don't like steep drops or spinning but will try just about anything else. The boys have been lucky that DH & I will ride everything at Disney & DH will try any & all roller coasters. One of my favorite fair rides in the Zipper:eek:. It took me a few years to try it but once I did I loved it. Now I do not trust those fair ride workers so I will not go on too many rides at our local fairs.

I am so mad right now-I watch American Idol & one of my favorites is now gone. I will not say who in case some of you watch & have not seen it yet.

Anyway I had to post a picture of what I bought on my lunch hour today::

I do not put out too many Easter decorations anymore now that the boys are 22 & 18:laughing: but I thought that was cute.

And here is a t shirt I picked up also..

It reminds me of Fl with the palm trees:cloud9:

Thanks for not spoiling the ending for me... I'm watching American Idol from the DVR right now. It's almost over... I'm watching the very scary performance by Iggy Pop! :scared1:

Great purchases today! :thumbsup2
