Good start! Where did you get the ponchos? I want new ones this year that are cheap.

I also take bug spray. If not, I am a walking mess the next morning from bites.

I am starting on my park cards today. Thanks for posting that earlier in your report! It is a great idea.

You can get rain ponchos at the dollar stores; that's where we get ours and just throw them out after we use them (they are usually 2-packs!).

That would be too funny. And Doreen if it happened, we wouldn't tell the guys....we'd just make them wear them that day.

Good start to the list. My newest "not to be forgotten item" to bring with is the Benadryl spray. I get something similiar to sun poisoning sometimes and I spray that on and it helps me from scratching and spreading (it helps with bug bites too!).

That would be funny!! It must be the time of year we go (April/May) but I never have a problem with bug bites. Of course now I probably just jinxed myself. But I will probably bring some Benadryl just in case.

Yes I bought mine at the Dollar Tree. I had to ask where they were in the store because they had them way over in a corner that I would not have seen.. Glad you could use the index card idea. I'm sure I used that idea from someone years ago. Love my index cards!!

Yup that's what we do too. I actually bought a few more packages of them than what I have in the pic & we just throw them out after we use them. Mine came 2 in a package for $1.00. Can't go wrong.

Good Morning Everyone. Well yesterday started spring travel soccer for Cody. They won 3-1 but man did we FREEZE!! The wind out there was awful. Some parents sat in their cars but a few of us die hards were out there with our winter coats, hoods, gloves & blankets. Now there are no games until May 7th so hopefully it will be warmer here by then.

So let's get back to the trip..

On our first full day in Florida we will be waking up at the Hard Rock Hotel. We will probably get up around 6:45 & get ready. I hope to grab a quick breakfast either in the hotel or somewhere at Citywalk. Not sure what is open at that time. They say there is a great breakfast buffet in the hotel at The Kitchen but it is $19.99 per person & I do not really want to spend $80.00 for breakfast for 4 of us so we will see.

My plan is to be in line to get into IOA at 7:30. Because we are staying onsite we can get into Harry Potter at 8:00 even though it does not open to the public until 9:00. They say if you want to ride Forbidden Journey to get there first thing in the morning. Now I have to say that none of us are Harry Potter fans but they say that the FJ ride is the most updated simulator ride there is so we want to try it. I also want to get a frozen Butterbeer that everyone raves about. They also say the line to get one of these can be over an hour in the middle of the day! So we will do the Harry Potter thing then head over to other parts of the park when they open at 9:00. Harry Potter is the only part that opens at 8:00. I am sure my 3 "boys" will want to ride the Hulk again & Dragon Challenge, Doctor Doom's Fearfall, Spiderman, etc. Some rides that we may get very wet on:

Jurassic Park River Adventure & Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls.

We will probably grab lunch at Thunder Falls Terrace which is in the Jurassic Park part of the park. It comes highly recommended. We will leave the park around 2:15 as our driver will be picking us up at 3:00 to head to POFQ.

We will check in & head to a park but not sure which one. We may head to DHS to see Mulch, Sweat & Shears but not sure on that. We may just play it by ear & see what we feel like doing. Dinner will be counter service in which ever park we are at.

So my wheels were turning and I was thinking that next year Cody will be graduating from high school & when Ryan graduated from high school we went to Disney for 10 days over April school vacation so we have to do the same thing for Cody right???....So.. we will be going to Disney twice within the same year so I started checking prices for tickets & what it would cost for 10 day park hoppers & figured in their usual price increases...so what was I thinking.......................





YES AP's!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will save over $500 by getting the AP's (& probably more if we go at another time this year). So when we get into our first park my first order of business will be to upgrade our tickets to AP's!!! Granted we will have to pay an additional $800 or so but we will be coming back.

So my wheels started turning again.. so I said to DH "You know I have been wanting to go to Food & Wine Festival for YEARS now & since we will have AP's we really should go in Oct"..... Let's just say I have checked into airfare & availability of rooms but that is as far as I have gotten with that idea. It would be just the 2 of us for a few days. Not sure if it will come to be but I am hoping!!

So my wheels were turning and I was thinking that next year Cody will be graduating from high school & when Ryan graduated from high school we went to Disney for 10 days over April school vacation so we have to do the same thing for Cody right???....So.. we will be going to Disney twice within the same year so I started checking prices for tickets & what it would cost for 10 day park hoppers & figured in their usual price increases...so what was I thinking.......................

We're not HP fans either, but I've heard great things about the attraction. You could get breakfast at Starbucks on Citywalk...they should be open by then.

Great Updates Doreen !!! You are really keeping your planning going !!! Now I think I will have to make a Doreen inspired list on my ptr very soon !! I also get my ponchos at the Dollar store !!I also get them for my free trips using the Agencies money and just hang onto what I don't use !!I have a whole drawerful of Disney "stuff" and I too need to go thru it .Like you I am a walking pharamacy !Last year I used my bennnie card to buy a whole load of OTC stuff before they stopped letting us get it !!I have to check what I still have !! I beleive we can still get bandaids , but not neosporinNow I can post pix I will be taking pix of all the Disney purchases and what I got the girls for Easter that they can wear to Disney!!!

I HATE trying to match socks! At least Ryan wears black socks & Cody wears white but it still stinks trying to match those white socks.

I have recently found that out about you. I wish I could drink coffee. I miss it but it bothers my Colitis so I try to stay away from it. DH drinks all these wonderful flavored coffee on weekends & I just get to smell it.

We are going Oct 26th-29th. Just Jeff & I. We will stay at POFQ again but I am hoping for an AP discount!! But I am going to book the room soon & hope for the discount.

The luggage tags are so cute!! They are like 3D. The pictures change when you move the tags.
