Our group has a bunch of people and only 1 girl wants to meet her. Are we allowed to get a FP for just her or do we have to get one adult and her? Just trying to select the passes and wondering what would happen if I get one just for her and obviously as a 6 year old she can't wait by herself. Meeting Anna and Elsa has HIGH on her list.

Anyone who plans on entering the building (regardless of it is just to watch or take pictures) needs a FP+, so if you only have on girl who wants to meet Anna & Elsa, you'll probably want to get two FP+s (one for her and one for an adult to go in with her). If you have any other adult that wants to take a picture or watch, as I said, they'll also need FP+.

Maybe they could just start requiring one FP, but note the system to issue blindfolds at the first Mickey head for the parents? ;)

If only they could come up with a system that didn't make parents feel the need to split up while touring, allowing the whole family to experience many attractions together as a family without hour long waits. ;) :rotfl:

I actually feel pretty strongly that is a huge drawback of this system. Definitely a step backwards from a company that used to put so much emphasis on "grand gatherings". Instead, this new system seems much better suited to small touring groups. Any family with mixed kids' ages is going to struggle with where to spend their very limited access to FP.

I agree!

I absolutely agree. We were just there 4/21 to 4/26 and we split up way more than usual. Dd had to see A&E, DS of course had no interest. Similar issues at each park all week. It ended up we had several unused FPs. Funny thing, I enjoy doing things as a whole family, and with my DH. Not frequently splitting up or else feel like two of the four of us were wasting time waiting for the others. If we didn't have the three FP limit this would not have been such a problem. And we were there Presidents week in February, so both were busy times.

When we were there in February I mostly enjoyed FP+. Not so true this trip. I'm not in the never going back camp, I have trips in Dec and next Feb, but I will say right now I am less sure about renewing my AP next April. But that's a year away, there's still time for more changes - good or bad...

You'll need a FP for her, and for anyone who intends to go in with her (unless they're under 3). Best result is book it for her and for one adult who will go with her. If you have a child under 3 you can bring that child in too.
