1 BR Availability Mother's Day Weekend?

We just closed on Monday and I'm anxiously waiting to get in the Disney system. I want to try and book a 1 bedroom for Mother's Day weekend (May 8-12). I'd prefer AKV (any view) or SSR because of the zero entry pool for my son, but I don't really care. Do you think I will have a problem getting something? I have a good airfare on hold until tomorrow night.

I know that when I called last week there SSR had availability. Since we will be there in that timeframe.

However...We are waitlisted for a 1 bd AKV for May 2-7 (currently booked at BWV). And May 7-11 we checked availability for originally and there were only days here and there.

I think your best best is to call Member Services. You could always book SSR and waitlist AKV.
