Okay, so you read my post wrong. What exactly did you mean? IF he gets extended to stay? So be it, we are a military family, those things happen. Doesn't come back because he is killed? I would be heartbroken for him, myself, my children, and our families, however, I would never feel that his death was in vain. He is a career military man, serving 9 years of active duty with the Marine Corps, and has now been in the Air National Guard since 1997. He loves his country, and he loves what he does, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
My dh is career military as well. I hope that if your dh must go again, his deployment goes as fast as possible, and that he returns to you safely.
