We are going to Palo on Pirate night, so I think we won't be dressing up.

I am planning to make a magnetic sign. I got the magnetic pages (costco.com!) and I just have to get the flash of inspiration.

If the toiletries are going in your checked baggage, I don't think they really care what you bring. If they are going in your carry-on, the bottles have to be no more than 3.4 oz and all have to fit into 1 1-quart zipper bag.

Those are the US rules, dunno about Canada!

I found some info on TSA.GOV regarding carry-on stuff.......

"Travelers may now carry through security checkpoints travel-size toiletries (3 ounces or less) that fit comfortably in ONE, QUART-SIZE, clear plastic, zip-top bag.
After clearing security, travelers can now bring beverages and other items purchased in the secure boarding area on-board aircraft.
At the checkpoint travelers will be asked to remove the zip-top bag of liquids and place it in a bin or on the conveyor belt. X-raying separately will allow TSA security officers to more easily examine the declared items."

Thanks for the info, it seems it is the same for Canada... I found this link for Canadian cruisers. And this one too (it even says the size of the ziploc bag in inches!).

thanks for the info. we are having a hard time with the liquid thing. we really wanted to buy some alcohol to bring onboard. i know we can get it in florida, but i get a discount at one of the liqour stores in town b/c i work at a restruarant they are a distributor for. we'll see how it goes.

if you don't hear from me for a week so, don't worry, i'll just be finishing up school and/or at work. things should calm down a bit after the next week and a half. then i can start making my pirate costume. we had to take our sewing machine to the shop and i hope it can be fixed at a reasonable price, and soon!

We are planning to bring alcohol with us as well. We will be wrapping the bottles in several plastic bags and securing it within all the clothes for padding so it'll arrive safely. As for wine, we'll get some in a box, so we don't have to worry about breakage (this worked just fine for my WDW trip in September!).

Yeah! Time is flying by now isn't it? How's the studying going Ana? Almost done, keep it up!

I took my boys out yesterday to buy their suits and dress shirts! Hit a great sale, but they are not thrilled! Last year they got away with polo's, 1 dress shirt and tie, and khakis. Not this year!

I'm still trying to tie up some loose ends for our 5 day stay at the World before the cruise! How to get from here to there, where the groceries get delivered to, where to buy the park tickets! If you have any suggestions for me, please let me know!

I know everyone is busy right now, but I am on the countdown! Take care everyone!
