1/6/2007 Early Roll Call...Anyone Else Going???

Yeah! Time is flying by now isn't it? How's the studying going Ana? Almost done, keep it up!

I took my boys out yesterday to buy their suits and dress shirts! Hit a great sale, but they are not thrilled! Last year they got away with polo's, 1 dress shirt and tie, and khakis. Not this year!

I'm still trying to tie up some loose ends for our 5 day stay at the World before the cruise! How to get from here to there, where the groceries get delivered to, where to buy the park tickets! If you have any suggestions for me, please let me know!

I know everyone is busy right now, but I am on the countdown! Take care everyone!

We're also going to WDW for 5 days before the cruise (staying at the All-Star Music). We're using the Magical Express and WDW transportation on site. We ordered our tickets from Undercover Tourist. It read about that site on Mouse Savers. There was a discount and there were no shipping charges, even if we live in Canada! Our tickets should be here any day now!

Thanks for the info about the tickets! I'll check to see what their deals are! We're staying at Saratoga Springs Resort. Our first time 'home' since buying DVC! I can't wait to be on vacation!

Thanks for the welcome. We've been on 2 other DCL cruises. The 4 day & the Western. However, the storms caused us to take a different path (Cozumel was heavily damaged). Unfortunately this year we won't be able to visit WDW before.

30 days and counting! I just hope the weather is nice and warm.

We haven't got our room assignment yet.... I think we're on deck 7 though. If I was to get my DH to go again, he insisted on a balcony! Not like we spend anytime in the room, but we do have 2 days at Sea.

Oh, I miss WDW. You're lucky to be able to get a few days in at WDW! Our kids will miss too much school.

Do you have early or late seating for dinner?

Just so there's no confusion, I got my WDW tickets from Undercover Tourist, and my tags for the Magical Express from WDW.

I haven't received anything from DCL yet.

Where do you think you will be in one month? I think I might be at Rockin' Bar D.


I'm not a nightclub person, but I forgot to go last time, perhaps because I was always ending up in Mickey's Mates or Shutters!

We are going to be at WDW before the cruise so hopefully we'll get that paperwork soon.. The cruise paperwork is supposed to come about 2 weeks before we leave, right?

I got my Magical Express tickets (2 sets actually) last week, but nothing yet from DCL. But it's coming soon! Found out that our just turned 13 year old may not be able to swim during our trip (Did I mention he had a really bad football injury in Oct?). Won't know for sure until the 29th! Cutting it close huh? We'll come on the trip either way, but it messes with our excursion reservations. I called DCL on Tuesday morning and the customer service lady actually made me cry she was so rude! I asked her to note our reservation that we had spoken and what she had said, but as soon as she saw that we were suite guests her attitude changed which steamed me further. I ended up getting a call back from DCL management who assured me that they would make sure Austin has things to do even if he isn't walking/swimming. Okay, my rant is over! I need that martini flight more than you know! P.S. Where do we get our DIS green bracelets so we know who we are when we meet?

What did she tell you that she was rude and made you cry? I don't get it?

Now what exactly are those Martini Flights? Do you get those at Palo? We haven't tried Palo yet... is it worth it? I'm a jeans & t-shirt gal, so getting all dolled up on vacation isn't exactly my way to relax.... unless those Martinis are there!

Tinkerbellmom~ That is so upsetting to hear they treated you like that at DCL. No magical moment there!

Did anyone fill in their cruise documents on-line? I filled in ours, but not sure what good it will do to have done it that way. Just one more way, something can go wrong, I guess.

I'm curious, did you get your tickets for your arrival only or for both arrival and departure? I only got ours for January 1st and I was wondering if it was normal as this will be our first time using the Magical Express.

Hi, just joining in b/c made our reservations 2 days ago. This is our first cruise ever and I am soo excited. Unfortunately, my husband and DS 6 can't join us. So it will be me and DD 4 1/2 and DD 2 1/2. My girls are good so it will be a great trip. Anyone else with kids the same age? I really want to try and get a reservation on board to Palo's. Any single (or not) travelers interested in joining me?
