1/3/09 Magic - First Time To St. Croix

Woo HOO!!!! Finally have things settled, and this is the cruise we are going to be on!!! My family, (me, DH, DD-14, DS-11, and DD-8) will be cruising along with another couple and their DD-15, and 1 other couple for sure. Hoping we can talk more into going. This is DCL #5 for us. I know we are mere amateurs by some standards, but I'll take what I can get!!! 360 days to go...OH! Time to change my countdown clock...hmmm, can I remember where to go to do that???

Also, we're very excited b/c we, and one of the other couples, managed (thanks to Barb ) to snag 2 of the "secret verandah" rooms!!!!

Glad to see more folks signing on. It is myself (will be 58ys) and DH (will be 63) this time. This will be DCL cruise number 12 for us. Number 11 is coming up in May thru the canal!

We just booked while on the Wonder. It is sooooo hard to wait a whole year so I am sure that we will sneak a 4 night cruise in there somehow. We have become completely addicted to DCL which nicely compliments our addiction to WDW!

It will be me, DH, DS12, DD9, DD7. We have connecting cat 9s.

This will be our 3rd DCL cruise so we are still novices.

I notice a couple of other folks from Georgia in the thread...we are in Athens, GA.

Cant wait!! See ya real soon!

global_mom...nice to see somebody else in my area...DH and I actually met at UGA in the Redcoat Band-it's a small world! DD 13 was born at St. Marys! Your town holds a lot of fond memories for us.

I know that this information is tied up in the thread somewhere, but can people list their kids coming, and their ages? At some point we are going to have to tell our kids we're coming on this cruise , and my older 2 have email-it would be nice for them to go ahead and have a little contact with some of the other kids that will be on the trip. For me, I'm bringing:
Victoria-14
Aaron-11
Katharin-8
These will be their ages at the time of the cruise. Actually, DS will turn 12 a couple of days after we get off the boat.
Coming with us will be a friend whos DD will be 15.

Hi Kelley: DH and I are both native to Athens but only he went to UGA. I went to Western Carolina in Cullawhee, NC.

Our kids will be close in age to yours. Here is the line up w/ ages at time of cruise:

Chase 13
McKay 10
Parker (a girl) 8
