1/20/07 Eastern Roll Call

We have booked through Disney for this cruise. So far, no one can beat their price since we had rebooked on board.

I will be traveling with my husband, John, and 2 girls: 11 and 8 at sailing).

Also, traveling with us is my sister and her family plus Nana and Papa. I am not sure when MISSYOH8 will post here. She is a great resource for the Disney addict.:teacher:

We have booked a CAT 10, but it is a secret porthole room, just like the last cruise.

Just thought i would swing by and give a little hello!

HELLO.

Haven't killed Lola yet so she and I and a suitcase full of Junior Mints will be headed out for January 2007.

Looks like our families are the only ones on the ship. I hope you and Lola enjoyed the junior mints.

Wowwie.....no one else comming on this cruise. They must of herd about us...me and Lola, that is.

Frank

We have booked this cruise as well and can't wait. We are a family of 5 from Ohio. Where are you all from?

How was the Eastern? We're thinking of booking this cruise. I don't like the idea of two sea days or getting up early for Immigration mid week but we've done too many Western Cruises.

Well I haven't done the western but the Eastern was good and immigration wasn't as bad as I thought it would be I would just suggest NOT to book an EARLY AM excursion becasuse you have to be there at 6 am but if you don't have a early excursion I think our time to go was 7:15-7:30 and it took a total of 5 minutes. St. Thomas and St. Maarten are beautiful and St. Thomas was down right HOT when we were there:sunny:

How did you like the Eastern? We have never been on one...only Western.

Maryoh8 - I think the eastern is great. We will be going on our third eastern in Jan 07. We love Orient Beach in St. Martin and Magens Bay in St Thomas. I also prefer having an extra day at sea instad of a stop in key west.

Hello fellow cruisers,

We booked our 1/20/07 Eastern Cruise a few weeks ago and are extremely excited. There is a total of eight of us going. I will be traveling with my husband, my son, 13 and my daughter's 18 & 12. My brother, mother and father are also going.

All I can do is read, read and read to soak up as much knowledge as I can prior to the trip. I can't wait for the new DCL Passporter book to come out in March.

What is up with my signature? Not sure why it's posting this way. Sorry! I've gone into the User CP and can't seem to edit my signature.

I posted on the other 1/20/07 thread too - I guess we have to combine forces and pick one thread - or maybe more is merrier. I just joined DIS and just booked our cabins on the Magic. Still working on my signature, pics, ticker, whatever. We have 2 cabins and 3 generations. 3 Grandkids will be 5, 3, and 1.5, so it should be a wild time. If you want a quiet cabin, stay away from the bow of deck 6!

Just wanted to check in with your thread. We too were on the 1/21/06 Eastern and rebooked. Actually booked the 1/20/07 while sailing in Oct '05 and booked Oct '07 (Sept '06 first, but switched when we got back home) while on the 1/21/06.

We're not sure if we are going to keep this reservation or move it to 2008 and do the Western. Due to DW's work schedule and vacation year (Feb-Jan) we like to take our Winter vacation as late as possible. We've been on the Eastern twice and want to try the Western, but we'd have to go the 13th, which is too early for us (too close to the holidays). Going 1/27/07 is too late because DW can't take too much time off in Feb. In '08 it would be only one day off. If we don't do the Eastern in Jan '07, we will just go to an island in the Caribbean for a week instead.

So long story short, just want to let you know we are currently listed on your cruise.

More importantly, however, I wanted to give everyone a heads up. We currently hold one of the SPH rooms. If we cancel, I just want to let people know so that if someone is interested, we can coordinate when we switch away and you call to swoop it up. It may not be until the 2008 rates come out, but if you currently hold a cat 10, this would be a bonus for you.

Then again, if a week on an island is to pricey, we may be seeing everyone on board.

I'll update as our plans develop.
