1/2 price gift certificates

Does anyone that has a Hard Rock certificate know if it states for food purchases only? My son loves those Hard Rock t shirts so I was wondering if they were good on merchandise also.

I noticed that there are 2 Nascar Cafe's listed. One is sold out and the other is not. What is the difference?

I dont think there is a difference. I think its just a new off that they posted and left the old one there too. There are a couple like that and I read both and they looked just the same to me.

Does anyone want to trade one $25 GC to Pat O'Brien's for one $25 to HRC or Nascar? I'd like to order HRC or Nascar, but I'm thinking that we'd like to try a few places for our first trip there, and I don't know how many chances we'll have for repeat visits. Our first trip is in March, and then we're heading back down in Oct, so none of the current expirations would last us two trips. And, we're just a party of two, so I'd be mortified to split a check.

The difference would probably be the expiration date. The "newer offers" would have a longer expiration date than the certificates that have been on the website longer. Other than that, I don't see any difference between them.

Has anyone used them yet? I would like to know if anyone could use them by asking for separate checks? My teens can go sit at a different table but I would still like to eat with them if I could.
The Motown one said one Fifty dollar GC. With these bargin meals I wish I was spending more that 2 days there.

I can't see why they would not allow you to use two checks. If you are going with another couple and each paying separately they don't force you to put it on one check. I doubt that the servers will care anyway.

I received my certificates today. I got the two $25 ones for Hard Rock and I received a $50 certificate for the Motown Cafe. They state that they do not cover gratuity or tax. I was surprised the Motown Cafe certificate was for $50 instead of two $25's.

Motown expires 5/31/04
Hard Rock expires 7/31/04

I rec'd my HRC gc today. It was 2 $25 certs. I also ordered Nascar Cafe one but they didnt come with the HRC certs. Hopefully they will come tomorrow.

I received my Hard Rock certificates today. They said they expire 7/31.

The thing I cant understand is why didnt my nascar cafe ones come yet? I ordered them within 2 minutes of each other. Hopefully they will show up monday and I can cross that off my todo list.

Kimberlyfamilyfv--I ordered mone at the same time also and my HRC certs came first then a day or two later my Nascar Cafe certs came. Both were 2 $25 certs--which is okay we will just get seperate checks.

i finally got my nascar cafe certificates today 2.23.04 I can finally check it off my list.

I am going to be at universal for a total of 5 days and four nights. I have 4 - $25.00 certificates. Do you think this is enough for pre planned meals. Do you think I need any more. there are only three of us going me and my two boys.

I looked at the Hard Rock CG pages and both say for ages 21 and older. Do you think kids can't get in for dinner with parents??

Also the newer HR CG, that has lots of deals left, says it is for 1 - $50 CG, not the 2 for $25 that everyone has been commenting on.

Am I reading these correctly?
I of course, impatiently bought one right away before clarifying anything.


I should clarify, the Transaction receipt states 1 $50 GC

There have been plenty of kids in the HRC whenever I've been there. It's a family place--children are welcome with parents.

ritzbuddy--mine said 1 cert for $50 as well but it came 2 $25 certs. And yes you can take your kids to the HRC. We eat there everytime. Our last visit the kids were 16, 13, 3 and 18 months. I think they just cant sit at the bar.
