When you ordered, did it say anything about expiration?

I have ordered a lot of GCs online, and I have never had one that expired earlier than one year, and those usually tell you there is an expiration date before you order. I ordered Hard Rock GCs for our trip in June. No where on the offer did it say that they expire by any certain date. If they do come with an expiration date before we go, I will be returning them.

I will post when they get here.

I had ordered a GC for Pat O'Briens and called the number that was on my email confirmation to check the expiration date. The woman told me the expiration varies by offer but the Pat O'Briens expires on May 31, 2004. Thankfully we'll be using it before then.

The number I called was 866.311.9806

Here in New Hampshire, Gift Certificates legally cannot have an expiration date. If you buy a gift certificate anywhere, it is good FOREVER. I think other states should adopt that policy.

I used the number mattman2k gave and the woman I spoke with was much more familiar with the certificates. I had her check a few and this is what she told me:

NASCAR expires June 30th
The Kitchen expires July 31st
Hard Rock Cafe expires July 31st
Motown expires May 31st

Apparently new certificates are issued weekly so it is important to check expiration dates if you are not intending to use them for a few months.

Wow! I ordered Hard Rock and Pastamore and am going June 5 - 9. Hope they are all still good then. Looks like HR will be.

Thanks for the info! Thats great, our trip is May 29-June 12 and the ones we wanted, Nascar and HRC have perfect expiration dates for us.

TigerLilly's Mom--I greee totally about not having exp dates on gift certs. However here in Texas I dont think they have passed that law yet

Thanks for checking on that for everyone, Caryn. It really helps a lot of aleviate any anxiety I had over ordering the Hard Rock GCs.

Now, does anyone knowwhen the Pastamoré GCs expire?

Just got mine today and I am bummed (and hopefully not shafted).

Nascar expires 6/30/04
Pastamore expires 5/31/04
The Kitchen expires 7/31/04

My trip is not until August 23rd. I called the 1-866-311-9806 number on the enclosed paper with the certificates and the very nice lady told me that they are only a fullfillment center. She took my name and number and has promised to call me back and see if she can get some sort of extension, but did not know. She also stated that the radio stations will need to get expiration dates on the website and that they should have already.

Lesson learned, hopefully they can extend them or refund the money. I will post when they tell me something.

Prince Eric1 - What amount were the GC's in? Did you get 1 $50 for each or 2 $25?

If you are not able to get a refund, I would be willing to buy one off of you I am sure people from this board would buy the other two off of you too. Some of us go often (Flyfly drags me almost every week-end, though I'm not complaining), so we would be able to make good use of them. I just purchased the Hard Rock Cafe certificate myself. I would most likely use the Nascar certificates.

I am SO BUMMED!!! Mine have not yet arrived, but I, too, ordered Pastamore and they apparently expire 6 days before I will be in Orlando. Guess I'll wait til mine arrive to find out if exp is the same. If so, I'll call or just try to sell them.

They REALLY need and expiration date on their website! I guess I will also be calling CC directly and some of the stations who are promoting this without all of the need info getting to the public.

I may get the Hard Rock Cafe ones if they are definately 1 $50. Anyone get a Hard Rock one yet? And Prince Eric, how long did it take you get them?

Can someone tell me why they have 2 seperate listings for Nascar Cafe and Hard Rock Cafe. Are they all good City Walk or are some for other locations?

I just got my Hard Rock GCs in the mail today.

There are 2 paper GCs which expire on 7/31/2004.

They specifically state on the reverse side that they are good only at CityWalk, Orlando and that they cannot be used for merchandise nor do they cover gratuity.

They also state that they cannot be used with any other discount and only one can be used per visit.

Tried to email their customer service thru the website link "tell us what you think". I keep getting the mail back with the message "
Unable to deliver message to the following recipients, because the message was forwarded more than the maximum allowed times. This could indicate a mail loop.

maryweber@ccorlando.com (this is the email of the person this is supposed to go to.) I tried typing in her email and it still did not work. Appears to be a problem on their end, not mine, tho.

I ordered on 02/04 I think and received them today on 02/11. Still haven't heard back from the lady yet to find out if they can extend the dates.
