Cameron, in room 8534, is a boy. Just letting you know because it is a girl's name also. We are all excited. Can't wait. Were we going to try to meet somewhere? Met on the Magic by ice cream machine after emergency drill. Anyone want to meet?

My DD Joy loves to run so she might, but not sure. Just think, next week at this time we will be getting ready to head to port. Only a 40 minute drive for us.

On Nassau day I am taking a taxi to Atlantis on my own.

Does anyone want to share a cab?

I understand that it will cost about $20-$25 each way.

It costs 4.00 a person and a 1.00 tip. They wait until they fill the taxi which does not take long.

Did we ever decide if we're going to have a meet up? Maybe we can all get together before the muster drill in the Bon Voyage lounge on deck 3?

We will be boarding late, near the 3:30pm deadline, and will probably miss a meetup before the boat drill. Children have mid-term exams all day Thursday, so we don't want to take them out of school early. No school Friday, though.

Everybody is on cruise by drill time that is why I suggested a quick meet by soft serve ice cream machine afterwards and just before sail away party. We did that on Magic and it turned out nice. Will check boards on Wednesday to see if anyone wants to meet and where. 2 more nights after this. I am at Disney with DD and DGS and DGD. Staying in cabins at Ft Wilderness. Having a great time. Driving to my house in Melbourne on Wednesday night and to Port on Thursday. We are all excited.

You are welcome. We have done this about 6 times so far. They also have water taxis and they are the same price. I like them because the guide tells you a lot about the island versus the taxi drivers. They don't usually tell you anything. You can take a water taxi over and a regular taxi back. Water taxi is a little bit of a walk but not bad if you like a little more scenic ride.

Hi all. We are so sad to have to cancel our cruise, and so close to our sail date too. Mom has taken a turn for the worse and we can't travel without her. It doesn't look like she will make it through the week. She had been doing well with chemotherapy but all of a sudden her liver gave out. We will sail later this year but not this week. :-( I had great FE gifts ready and will really miss the fun this weekend. Mom really wanted to see Castaway cay...soak up the beauty for her will you? Sorry this happened when it did with so little notice. Safe travels, everyone. Please take us off the FE list (rooms 8160 and 5146)

So, so very sorry to hear about your Mom. I hope that she will soon find the peace she seeks and the strength she has shown you will be with your family. My prayers will be with you this weekend.

Ice cream machine is located on deck 11 aft. Life jackets are not taken to drill anymore. Makes it a lot nicer not having to worry about going back to room to get them and put them away. Not sure of the time but we can try for 10 minutes after drill ends.
