1/19/12 - DIS DREAMers cruise

Hi all. We are so sad to have to cancel our cruise, and so close to our sail date too. Mom has taken a turn for the worse and we can't travel without her. It doesn't look like she will make it through the week. She had been doing well with chemotherapy but all of a sudden her liver gave out. We will sail later this year but not this week. :-( I had great FE gifts ready and will really miss the fun this weekend. Mom really wanted to see Castaway cay...soak up the beauty for her will you? Sorry this happened when it did with so little notice. Safe travels, everyone. Please take us off the FE list (rooms 8160 and 5146)

Sorry to hear this. Even though we have not met we are all friends on disboards. Will keep your family in our prayers and maybe we will meet again.

Everybody is on cruise by drill time that is why I suggested a quick meet by soft serve ice cream machine afterwards and just before sail away party. We did that on Magic and it turned out nice. Will check boards on Wednesday to see if anyone wants to meet and where. 2 more nights after this. I am at Disney with DD and DGS and DGD. Staying in cabins at Ft Wilderness. Having a great time. Driving to my house in Melbourne on Wednesday night and to Port on Thursday. We are all excited.

I think that's a good plan. Enjoy WDW!

Mom passed peacefully today. My dad insists we go on our cruise just as mom planned for us. We have decided as a family that mom would be upset to hear us cancel the trip. I don't have the magnets I made for the FE since i left them in alaska but have other gifts with me. I will happily mail my FE bags to you later if you want to email your address but no pressure.

Please consider keeping us in the FE list now that we are going again. Barbara will not be there but she is in spirit. My gratitude to you for being included in the Disney fun... It will be very healing for us.

Had a wonderful time! What perfect weather we had. Thanks to everyone for the FE gifts - my daughter absolutely LOVES the Goofy pillow - I need to check his tag to see who sent that, but until I can thank you personally - thank you to who made that!!!

We had a great time as well....Sorry we did not have time to meet all of you, a three day cruise is way to short.......But the weather was perfect, as was the ship, cast and crew....

We did stop by to put some DREAM magnets on the doors.......
