Hello, We just recently went on the 7 night Western Caribbean Cruise (10/21 to 10/28) and had taken a 3 night Disney Cruise back when Disney first started doing cruises. We have a son who is 2 years old and live in the Central Florida area (so no flights for us).

Finding the boards was pretty easy. I typed in "disney cruise forum" into Google and it's the #1 result. I spent a few minutes in Photoshop making a sig and an avatar, and here I am.

Atlantis does look like a completely cool place that my teenies/tweenies would want to be. It also looks HUGE!! I hope some cheaper rates come up.

I keep checking online at my ressies and they all still just list guarantee, no room numbers yet. Guess I will be waiting awhile for those.

Anyways, I see some of you are planning to do Atlantis. Is it really warm enough that time of year to enjoy everything there? I know DD7 would love to go as she has the Mary Kate and Ashley dvd when they visited there. We aren't planning any excursions but if we could get a cheap rate and it would be warm enough to enjoy the water activities... I MIGHT think about it...

We looked closely at touring Atlantis, but decided instead to go for the Ardastra Gardens and City Tour. I love botanical gardens and zoos, even more than aquariums, and the city tour covers several areas of interest. The tour doesn't start until 12:45, so we will have time for a leisurely breakfast and look around the straw market before meeting up for the garden tour.
So many things to do, so little time.
Has anyone checked to see whether Atlantis is available through Priceline? Good luck getting a good rate everybody.

Rebekkah, where did you get the pillowcases for the kids? I have seen some cute ones on Ebay that I read about on the board (Antonia and Mike's embroidery), but I haven't gotten any yet. Is that where you got yours?

We were thinking of Atlantis, too, but we might stay on the ship. Seems like I read you can get a room at Comfort Suites and have access to the Atlantis pools. Did I imagine that, or did anyone else read that? You might be able to make the 168.50 price point! If you get a room, how do you get to Atlantis? Taxi?

I have been working on my Christmas shopping so I can spend December working on door signs and figuring out what else I need to know before January!

The rate is $210 per night, but there is an extra charge of $10 per adult for housekeeping and energy use, plus I think $30 for each adult over the first two. I don't know if they might have a dayroom rate. It might not be much cheaper than the Atlantis!

Oh by the way... Antonia has thousands of designs to choose from so if there's a certain something you're looking for, just let him know. I wanted one of the "Baby Disney" characters for Tucker and he had 4 designs for me to choose from.

First off, the Ebay auctions are up Some of them.
Dont like to list multiple item to end on the same day!
If it is not nailed down it goes on Ebay!!!
It is the once a year get rid of it sale...

Airtran is having an 48 hours sale

could not get delta to cancel our non refundable tickets
time on flights had changed but only an hour and 10 minutes need 90


so we could not take advantage of the $59.00 fare fare
verses the $130.0 we paid on delta!

could have saved $560.00 bucks!!!

The Ebay store I bought my pillowcases from is Antonia&Mike's embroidery. I don't have a link but I think you can do an advanced search and enter the store or seller's name.

I need to get busy collecting more stuff around my house to put up on Ebay as well! I found that it's easiest for me to go to Staples and buy the big padded envelopes and print my own shipping labels and schedule pick ups! The last time I had to go mail 15+ packages was NOT fun! Everyone was looking at me like I was crazy.
