1/10/2013 4 - Night Bahamian Cruise, Miami FL

No you are right it is 27. I think I counted a child named Matt twice!

My count is 8 cabins, 27 people, 11 are kids and 16 are adults.

I think this is right. Lol.

Thanks! I did the same thing with Mat

Let me know if anyone with kiddos in the Oceaneers Club wants to meet up the first day. I have an 8 and 10 year old boys (trying to keep my 10 year old in the Oceaneers with his brother, but we will see if he escapes to the Tween Club)

This is our first cruise ever! I'm so excited an nervous at the same time. We gave the girls the present on Christmas. My 5 year old didn't get it at first and her sister said we are going on a cruise with a big smile. I made a small countdown thing for each and the little one does it as soon as she wakes up. She is so excited. Right now they have the flu. UGH! At least it 2 weeks before we go. Thank goodness.

Lol. Sorry the extra person count is my fault. But, yes, we do just have the one son. Lol. He is Matthew Jr. so we call him Matt Matt. Sorry for the confusion. :) And dlg...we are dealing with the flu over here too. I'm just glad it's now and not in 2 weeks! Lots of healthy vibes to everyone so we all get/stay well and enjoy the cruise!

I'm out shopping for fish extender stuff! I need to remember it has to fit in the luggage! Another thing I am looking for is some magnetic paper. On our last cruise we also did a magnetic exchange where we all made magnets for the doors. Besides the fact that we decorated our own doors we also came back to the room everyday and saw magnets made by others. It was the highlight of our cruise as our door was covered by the end! Of course we also had over 50 families in the fe! Haha.

Anyone else decorating their door?

Getting excited now!!!!

I really want to decorate our door but our printer decided not to work. Waiting for dh to get it going again.

Anyone know if there are personal navigators for this itinerary floating around that might be accurate?

Anyone know what shows are going to be on?

I haven't been doing my normal level of research! Last cruise I knew exactly what to expect every day for the most part. This time I feel like I'm just going with the flow. I think it is because of the holidays. Now I need to focus on the trip!

Will someone do a nice trip report? My cruise on the Magic isn't until October and I am dying for more pictures!

This is our first cruise ever. I have to just go with the flow. I am very overwhelmed right now with what to pack. The list I've seen seem crazy with all the things they suggest. Do you guys really pack that much stuff?

Clothing

Toiletries

Over door shoe hanger for toiletries

Beach bag

Camera stuff

Fish extender gifts

Door decorations

In The thread I was reading it mentioned that the first three Wonder cruises out of Miami were 7 day cruises to be followed by 4 night cruises. Does that mean that we are the first 4 night cruise out of Miami?!?!
Probably means we won't have any useful Navigators or trip reports. :worried:
I picked up all my craft goodies and work on the FE gifts starts tomorrow!!!!:cool1:

Yes you are right we are the first 4 night Bahamas out of Miami. I forgot about that. Lol

What I had read was they were doing a 6 night and a 7 night Caribbean once they got to Miami starting 12/23. Then they start on the 4 and 5 night cruises they are going to be doing for the next couple of months.

They must be on a 7 day now? I saw that they are scheduled for a 5 night west. Caribbean starting on the 5th. Then it is our turn!

I am sure whatever shows were on the wonder for the 7 day last week will be some of the same ones we get since the same cast is likely to be on board. I wonder if we can find trip reports from the first cruise out of Miami.

Discorsner I like your list better. The list that are floating around are crazy. Everything but the kitchen sink. Ha ha.

Dlg210 -

Now I am curious... What kind of stuff was on their list?

I do bring a cup holder from McDonald's. I send hubby to the refill station with it and it is easier to carry drinks back. Someone gave me that tip last time and it proved to be very valuable.

Deb

of course all the basics.
extension cords, power outlets, hampers, coloring books, activities for the kids, ds games etc. alarm clocks, night lites, flashlights, first aid kits (im bringing this) bug spray, duct tape, all size ziploc bags, swiss army knife, this list goes on. is this stuff you bring or would consider bringing from you past experience.

do you bring multiple copies of your passport and birth certificates?
