I am going to be embarrassed to hang my signs on my door! PrincessH and LauraBearz have such awesome signs!! Where did you find your clipart?!

Some of the clipart can be saved by doing(control button on the pc(Ctrl) then the letter a button) control a to select it then control c to copy

I am using microsoft publisher that came on my computer downstairs, which is also now the kids computer, in the family room. SO all my sign making is done late late late at night! Sucks!

The School Schmool idea came from the clip art itself. I spent hours hunting down clip art andsaving it to my computer.... to do that... right click on the image, selct save as.... and then remember where you put it. LOL Then, often you can just drag the image to the piece your working on.... I also found disney fonts and downloaded them too.

I suggest.... going to either the T shrt thread of the cruise sign thread and do a search of just that thread. TO search a thread open it, and on the top of the thread, right hand side there is a search this thread button... select it, and put in fonts. That will bring up all the posts that mention fonts, and from there you can find the link for them. Sorry I cant directly link you, when I need it I search it LOL

Search is one of the best features on the DIS. Esp advanced search title only, if your looking for a partitcular tidbit. Search it by title and 99% of the hits will be exactly what you want. If you just do a regular search (title and post) you have to wade thru alot more junk

I am really bummed out tonight. I still have not heard anything from our TA. She said she would call me first thing Mon. morn. I called her around 2:30 this afternoon,since I had not heard from her, and she was with a client. I left her a viocemail, and she still has not called back. All I want is my docs! I even told her we had a busy weekend. (We are going to the Nascar race at Dover)

I did however find the neatest book at Walmart. It is a Disney keepsake book. It was only $4.97! It had stickers, a journaling section, some stories and a tons of games! I picked up a Mickey one for Timmy to do while on the plane.

I have been trying to pack as much as possible. It is taking me forever! I do tend to over pack though!

Only 9 days to go!

I wish I could start packing. I have a list and I have gathered up a bit here and there.

WTG on the walmart book! Sounds like the perfect plane thing to do! I was at Walmart today (deciding NOT to buy swords lol) and got a few great deals in the clearence section, but nothing for the trip! Oh wait... I got the white t shirt for DH's costume!

I have my fingers crossed for you Princessh in hopes that you get your docs today. There is nothing more frustrating than waiting for someone to get back to you and they are unresponsive.

We are finally doing the single digit countdown dance.

We leave for Port Canaveral next Thursday morning!

Still no Docs!!!!
Out TA says she should have everthing ready for us tomorrow night. Worst thing is she never called us back. My husband stopped by her office after work. We will never be using a TA again!

Still no docs... shame shame on that TA!! I used DU (this sites sponser) and I have been happy with them, not like they have done more than book it, take my money, and send me my docs, but I also got their discount, which is all I was interested in. LOL

I did not even get a discount! I got the same qupte from the TA that I got from Disney. We went through the TA since she said she could set up transporation service and make all our ADR's for WDW. I ended up doing everything anyway. She called me three weeks ago and wanted to know if we have decided on where we wanted to dine. I was just like you, on the phone as soon as they opened 90 days out to get the place and times I wanted. We already had the dining plan, then they gave us the dining plan for free. I knew if I did not call 90 days out, we would not have gotten any adr's. Oh well, I have learned my lesson for next time! I have learned so much from this board, who needs a TA when you have the DIS!

i'm just starting to get in the vacation mood since it's only a week away

the door sign are cool and i'm thinking of doing a door sign too...

my question is:

do you print this on regular paper...

or do you use something else...

and do you just tape this on the door?

I have printed mine on magnetic paper. I got mine at Walmart. It is by the computer paper and card stock. It was around $8 for 5 sheets. Some people will print thier signs on heavy paper and then put the sticky magnet strips on the back. They sell those in the craft dept. Hope that helps!

I am printing my signs out on regular paper, and bought magnetic tape squares that I will have the girls peel and stick on the back. The Magnetic paper cost too much, esp since we have 2 doors to decorate...

But now that you mention it Heather, maybe I will buy some heavier paper and use that instead.

And Bently... any thing we can do to help ya plan let us know. Have you registered Sabrina for the kids clubs yet?
