I'm going to try to make a sign for our car about us going on the cruise so if any of you on the DCL bus heading towards the port see us on the Beeline Expressway - WAVE!!!! We'll be in the silver Infiniti!

I need to locate our birth certifcates..... they are here somewhere.. just need to uncover them.

Packing is going well and the weather is suppose to be cool after tomorrow (80 tomorrow, then 70's) so I can sneak out the last of the hot weather clothes on Monday!! LOL

Do NOT go to sleep until you find the Birth Cerificates...lmao! This is a Must! I phoned Allysha AGAIN today to ask...are you sure you have her Birth Certificate...she again said yes...lol.

Lauara, you are about to blow your childrens minds! Please let us know how you are planning to break it to them and their reaction! You may need to video tape it...lol. I would have ruined the surprize by now, and shared the news, if it was me! I admire you! I am sure you are busting at the seams! lol

Quick Question:
For other areas of the nation...will there be school tomorrow and Tuesday? Georgia has closed all public schools to conserve energy (fuel)! I remember the gas shortage in the 70's and the public school transportation strike...but never did they close school. I am blown away by this and am wondering about the future!

I would love a system to move in Saturday extending our cruise by a day or two, but a storm that dosent cause any damage inland... Is there such a thing???

I agree! It would be nice to have another day! We booked the 3 day so Sierra would only miss 2 days of Pre-K...and the week we are planning to cruise, the state closes school for 2 days...How hilarious is that! I chuckle each time I think about it!

So yes... an extra day would be wonderful for many reasons!

Finally started packing today - YAHOO!!

Tomorrow I will work on my sign for the car.

The weather in Florida was awesome today! 96 degrees and sunny! Hope it holds!

Cindy... I have several extra pirate earrings and I think I will have an extra eye patch or two....

I looked at the weather... whew boy.. hot hot hot! I was planning on having the girls wear these cute denim dresses, but with those kinda of temps, I will figure something else out. Do you think it would be ok for them to wear the dresses to dinner one night??? Hmmmmm

We also need light clothes for our night at MK....thank goodness the weather after tomorrow here is cool... mid to lower 70's. It helps in sneaking clothes out of their closets lol

Dragon tales live was great! Princess's on ice tomorrow!!!

Cindy.. Iheard about GA schools closing down. A pain for a lot of working parents.

I bought card stock paper for the door signs tonight and an extra set of ink jet cartridges! LOL I will be a printing mad woman tonight.

We are going to pass on the sting ray thing since Abigail cant do it... unless we find out on board, that they will let her...

THE PLAN

I will wake the girls up early and tell them we have to make a stop to drop some clothes off for Hurricane Katrina suviviors (I will cover the suitcases in the back with the donation bags) before school... and we will drive to the airport.... LOL

At the airport, I will tell them we are going on a trip (and that we will drop the clothes off when we get back) but that we are not telling them where.

I have preprinted notes to pass out to SWA gate people to help we with a last minute plane change set up. We will wait at one gate, then at the last minute have them page us, then tell us we have to board a different plane... and to not pay attention to the boarding signs, that the plane is going to Zanzabar! LOL The only posible problem is my 6 year old... she will tell everyone that the plane isnt going where it says it is going... and some kids might blow it.

Once we land at MCO the jiig is up, since they know that airport well.... lol I do plan on stringing them along... saying we are not going to WDW for this vacation (only part of it so not a total lie) But after that.... they gotta know... I will prolly tell them on the plane.... maybe make up something for the flgith attendant to bring to them, or something like that.... See.. I should make them a SURPRISE shirt, for the FA to bring!!! Off to figure that one out! LOL

Ok... I am printing out door signs tonight. The 6 that I have contacted Via email are on the sign. I tried contacting the others... but tracking folks down isnt my thing... lol Making signs... now that's my thing!

I have oscar, driver, grandama, princessh, mrsavee8r and myself... Im sorry if you sent me something and I didnt add it... I was confussed between screen names real names and email addresses... LOL I keep thinking Epcot Monique sent me an email... but I cant find it for the life of me... sooo sorry if you did.

On the upside... I found everyones birth certifcates. I had a mini heart attack because they dont have the raised seal that you read about. Instead they have the water marked paper... WHEW! Marriage lic is still unaccounted for, but I am not too worried. I wanted to bring it, but dont really need it.

I also fessed up to DH tonight... he had a couple of beers in him from watching football, and I showed him what DCL hands out (photos of the red bandana on people NOT in costume) and I told him some of you are wearing BUCS shirts, and some others were dressing in full costume, but other than that, I couldnt gareentee that anyone else will be in costume. He was fine with it... He said the kids will dig it and he cant complain since he is wear sweats and a t-shirt. (I said would you rather wear a dress shirt and tie... he said NO WAY! lol) I said the staff will fuss about and it should be worth it for the extra attention.... (I hope... lol) but most of all... the kids are going to think we are soooooooooo cool. And I know they are growing up very fast and the times of them thinking we are cool are drawing to a close.

Boy I am rambling on and on.. Im sorry. But I cant tell the kids... and none of my friends want to hear that we are going on another vacation.... ya know?

As you can tell, the above plan is over the top... so I am nixing it... LOL I found matching t-shirts at the Disney store today.. a picture of the whole gang in front of the castle...and on the bottom it says.... Dreaming is Believing... I will make up designs for the backs of the shirts that say something like... I was surprised with this WONDERful vacation! and list the Cntemporary and the DIsney wonder on it. blah blah blah... Anyway I will still wake them up and do the whole dropping stuff off before school thing, but when we get to the airport I will spill the beans. At least about the first night at the COntemporary and going to the MK... In the morning I will have them wear their shirts for embarking....

I am so thankful, for each and everyday! Life is good here.... it really is....

Next time she is home.....


2 outta 3 kids sick. Yes, thats right sick. Coughs and runny noses. No fevers.. but I am taking them both to the doctor tomorrow, just to make sure it is nothing more... I know it isnt, but since this is a cruise, I want to make sure. I may also see if we can do a round of antibotics just to head off anything. Not a fan of doing that... but I also rather be safe than sorry.

Could this be the surprise that never happens???

Whew what a day!

Sierra and I watched the Disney DVD again...and she fell off to sleep as usual...gosh I am so very excited! I am so glad you started this board Laura!

It was a shop till you drop kind of day! So tomorrow the suitcases will be zipped. Papa altered Sierra's pirate costume while we were away today! He actually did very nice...lol.

Laura, thank you for the offer on the eye patches. I was able to find the eye patches, earrings and bandana for both Troy and I , but I am still in search of the Pirate Coat. Buycostumes.com has one…but not sure it will be delivered in time. I sent an email a few minutes ago asking about the certainty on express delivery. So we shall see.

We missed the sail away also...and I was trying so hard to remember it for 5:00, but we were still out and about. However, Thank you for the link above!

Driver, I have our shoe polish ready for the car…lol! I feel like one of the girls are graduating HS again…making signs, decorating the car…lol! I am enjoying every minute of this! And I do think my older girls are a bit jealous. Diana said to her dad I today…I wish I was going…lol. We told her to save her money and she could go with us next year…lmao!

Ok Mom, you know what you have to do....fill them up with vitamins, antibiotics, fluids, sleep and lots of . Sierra was sick a few days ago. I dosed her with...brb...ElixSure Fever/Pain and Equate grape flavor triacting cough and sore throat. It knocked whatever she had in her system, out! She slept for an entire day before her fever broke! But she was back to her self within 48 hours.

I don't blame you for taking the extra pre-cautions, especially with flying! Keep the faith!

How did you make out on your packing? Are you ready to start rolling them to the car?

This week is going to go fast! I wonder what gas will be like off the 95 by Thursday!
