Mike and I were at the ER for a long time and finally got a doctor in to see him after about 3 hours waiting on that little narrow gurney. He is ok while lying down but it hurt like the dickens when he was standing or sitting. Anyhoo, the doc says to him "Here, take tylox (narcotic) and rest for 48 hours and do you need a work excuse?" His reply was "Nah, I'm retired, I just send my wife off to work. I just keep house." My reply was "Yes he needs a work excuse cause the dishes are piled up again.

It seems to be ligament pain. All the rods and screws appear on xray to be in place. Whew!
How about this! All this time I've been lurking on the boards I never knew I could say "Hello" to anyone from work.
Mike is doing ok, Katie's mama picked her up from the hospital ER about 2:30 this afternoon. Mike had to reassure Stacey that it isn't the keeping Katie that puts him into the hospital, only bad luck.
Also, Mike is in the Army State Guard. No pay just doing something constructive on one weekend a month. (Getting out of the house) He was in the Army in Vietnam before I met him and after we married and had children he joined the Army National Guard for the one week end relief from the house and kids a month

and the glorious vacations in Ft. Stewart, Ga. and other areas around the globe.

For two weeks a year.
Thanks for all the well wishes. Take care. Kathy
