Good morning everyone!

Jennifer - sounds like you had some fun after a long days work. DH and I are Nascar fans so we were watching the race.

Amanda - congrats on your pirate!

It was great!!! Like I said not a huge fan, but it was awesome to be part of the 50th anniversary!

Jennifer are you behind or in front of the camera? My brother just bought a new Cannon HD camera. He wants to produce films of people hunting and fishing. He had an old sony but it was out of date (analog). He started editing it last weekend and it was really good. I guess what i'm asking is if you have any pointers for him. PM me if you dont want your information on the boards.

Amanda

I downloaded the countdown " pocket watch" from the DVC site. I am guessing it is not new, but it is so nice to click the icon and see exactly how much time we had left. Woo Hoo.

No it's OK I am behind the Camera at a local news station here in West Palm. I am a photographer and the main Satellite Truck Operator. We are still on Beta Cameras, but we are slowly switching to P2 HD cameras which are tapeless and have a much better picture quality. Getting into the biz is tough and sometimes you have to start small, but with a lot of work and determination he will have no problems. Docs are even better as you put one together and then all you have to do is find a network that might be interested in it or might be able to give him the tips he needs after looking at it to make it TV ready. I send him my best wishes with his career and if you have any questions PM me anytime.

Just got back from an interview, same company (Best Buy) different position. It went well I think. I will know on Mon or Tue. Wish me luck!!

Took Amanda to Outback for dinner. She had to send her steak back 3 times before they got it the way she wanted. At Outback med well means something different than the rest of the world. They comped her meal even though I told them not to. Oh well. I ate way too much. I had the prime rib, which was perfect for me. By the time Amanda's steak was finally right, I was done!

Have a grea night everyone and for those in the cold weather areas (it's 14 here) try to stay warm!

Annette

HA HA HA Amanda pulled a me :) Meaningless last post to get the pirate - too funny.

I am on break right now. I am writing a breifing document for my midterm that is kind of due tomorrow. It was but the class lobbied for an extension until Tuesday but I am going to see if I can finish it for tomorrow so I possibly won't have to worry about it for the weekend.

I am tired. I slept like a rock last night. I woke up having to go to the bathroom and hoping it was about 3am. Well it was 658am and time to get up. Those 7 hours went by FAST!

Good morning everyone!

Annette - good luck on the new job!

Mandy - good luck on finishing up your brief.

I watched a bit of the eclipse from our bedroom window. Too cold to go out and see it. We got to see one at sea on our May 2003 cruise - that was something I will never forget!

Good luck on the job Annette. We did watch the eclipse last night. It is so cool to watch.

We are getting poured on right now. It look like an all day thunder storm here. My oldest is sitting in the airport hoping his flight to Milwaukee will get out. I hope he realizes how cold it is up there!!! He's a senior in college so this is his last care free semester. His best friend goes to Marquette and he goes up once a year to visit.

have a great day.

I just realize when flipping my calendar to March that our first "booking date" is approaching. For those of us who are arriving a few days before the cruise, we can book our Priority Seating in two weeks. :cool1: :cool1: Maybe I just take great joy in little things, but being able to book something, makes it seem so much closer.
:yay: :yay:

OMG - I'm way behind planning. Robin your talking about planning our PS for September and I haven't planned any for our WDW visit after our April cruise! The only thing we have planned so far is an offsite DIS meet with some of our May '06 cruise friends. Guess it is a good thing as we'll only be at WDW for a couple of days. Don't want to plan too much.

Oh I can't believe it's only 2 weeks until the 180 day mark. Good thing I am on spring break soon so I can catch up.

Good morning everyone. Happy Friday!

It is actually warming up here in Chicagoland! YEAH! Of course it will most likely be short lived as we are expecting more snow on Tuesday. :lmao: Hey I'll take it where I can.

Have a great day everyone!

PDFG and all our friends who need it.

I am only planning my meals this time since it will just be Mike and myself. I want to have a nice quiet dinner. I am thinking of adding the Dining Option and will need ADR (just learned PS is old school) to go to Le'Cellier.

OK I just have to share this because your mention of LeCellier reminded me. Those of you doing the Biggest Loser Challenge over on WISH know that one of challenges for the week is to go on a date. So I mention this to Mark yesterday morning as I was leaving for work (he was just getting up).

About an hour later I get a call at work. He says he came up with a great plan for a date but sadly it won't work. I ask him what it was and he said he wanted to take me to dinner at LeCellier. He had actually gone to aa.com and was checking out flights to see if we could fly down on Friday night and fly home on Sunday. Sadly there were none available at anything resembling a reasonable price. He does, however, get big points for trying to be creative and romantic!

Mary- that is just too sweet. I wish I could be that spur of the moment.

We are getting another day of rain, hope it's nice for the week end.

Mary, that is so sweet.

Hubby and I don't go out on dates much as he works out of town/state a lot.

So we really enjoy our time at Disney, even if it is with the kids
