Thanks Amanda - Show Annette how to do it :lmao:

Amanda just called Member Services and found out that we can borrow points from 09 for the Member cruise. Put us on the list of people calling on the 17th and keep your fingers crossed

Annette :cool1:

Kay, When it comes to the points annette has no clue.

We just found out we have 24 points we have to use by 2/1/2008. We cant bank them because they were borrowed from 2008. Some how when we went from SSR to BCV we used less points. Now we have to figure out if we are going to use them or see if the family wants them, oh the what to do:confused3:rotfl2:

have a great night

So since there are a lot of us calling on the 17th, what kind of stateroom catergories is everyone looking to book?

I just called DCL to see if they had assigned us a Castaway Club number yet and they have!! Woo hoo! It's the little things that get me excited. So now we are all ready :)

The plan is fully in place for us!

One cabin, whatever we can get, in this order: 7,6,5,8-12 though sofar we havn't had to go thru more than one choice. :)

We will try for an inside stateroom because that is the least amount of points and we really don't spend that much time in the room anyway.

it would be really easy on the legs if all of us could be on the same floor :lmao: :lmao:

maybe I'll take my scooter next year and we'll take turns with it giving the goodies out for the FE's :rotfl: :rotfl:

Cobbler
Nanc and I didn't use our Castaway Club this Cruise. Does it help when calling in for the 2008 cruise ?

DCL has the CC number on file and if you don't give it to them, they look it up.

It really isn't anything "that you use".

After your first cruise, then the repeat cruise they put one gift in your room and it is there the day you board.

If I am wrong, please correct me. Maybe there is something I don't know or
haven't heard as yet. :confused3

besides, sometimes I look like this :surfweb: :surfweb:

I don't know what it is for really either, I just read on the member site to have it when calling in. This past member cruise was our first cruise ever so I really am not sure what the Castaway Club does besides give us a different line to check-in with, and a few extra days ahead to book excursions.

Oh and we are going for catergory 8 first, followed by 9 and lower. Going for late dining as well.

I'd love a cat 10 on deck 5 or 7. Otherwise, hopefully, we'll get a sideways cat 11.

We would like a verandah this time so we're going category 7 - 6 - 5 also. Early dining for us. I have acid reflux issues. :guilty:

I am also going to be calling on the 17th, bright and early, I will be in Vegas for work, so I am ready to be up at 5:45! There will be 7 of us cruising if we can book it, we are going to try for a 10 and handicap 11. Otherwise whatever they have available that will fit the 7 of is good! Good Luck to all!

My DD and I will also be trying to book this cruise. I just joined DVC last month and am so excited about it! We've never been on the Wonder, because 4 nights is just too short. But for the Member cruise it'll be worth it.

My DD will be 10 on Sept 21st, so I am trying for a Cat 3. If I can't get the suite, then we'll probably just do a cat 8 or 9 outside.

Hope you get your wishes - the hdcp. rooms are verye hard to get. You almost have to be the first ones to call in. There are only a handfull of them onboard. I love the hdcp rooms on the 6 & 7 floor at the end of the hallway. They are perfect for 2 people.

Good Morning Kay and All
Thanks Kay for the info.
I can't remember Kay when we call on the 17th can you tell them what deck and state room you want?
I know you can request the deck but can you request the state room ?

danandnan

You can request and ask for any deck or stateroom you want.

If it is available, you will get it; otherwise, they give you the next closest and best room of your choice.

Pixie dust is w/you and you'll get what you want -- ZAP :wizard: :wizard:

MORE POINTS

Idon't known if i told anybody but when we got back to OKW from the cruise nac and I started talking and wondering if they would offer the same points deal here so we we over to Saratoga Spings too the office to ask. Jenna our club rep said yes so we bought 110 and got the 100 bonus points.
We thought why keep using out of pocket money. We have been coming dow to the World twice for the past few years. Now that we are both retired we can really enjoy them.
