Now my lunch is over and must get back to work. I miss having my own schedule and not punching in but i love the biweekly check and going back into a profession i can excel at.

Drat I missed it. I was here, just reading other threads.

Sigh I guess I'll never get a pirate.

Good morning all. It is another beautiful day in Nashville. It is not suppose to get too hot today. Only in the low 80s.

The past four days have been fun. Get up - go to work - go help at BSA Camp - go home - go to bed. Repeat.

Mike got home from Ft Lauderdale last night so no more quiet house at night. Yeah. I have had to leave the TV on to sleep.

I can't believe we are coming on the 90 day mark. I guess I need to start thinking about what we need to pack. As some of you know, Matt is not coming with us on the Member cruise, but will be flying down on Thursday with a friend to join us on a 3 day cruise. I will have to make sure I have him double packed before we leave. One bag for his stay at the friend's house while we are gone and one bag to bring to Florida. Matt is also estatic. His friend who moved to W. Virginia this past spring has talked his mom into taking the 3 day cruise. So she is going to pick Matt and Andrew up at the airport and bring them to Port Canaveral. Mike and I will not have to drive back to Orlando to get the boys.

Well off to work.

That's good news. Are you and Mike going to stay on board or will you stay in the terminal to meet up with them?

When I called I was told there was no wait list but you might get a different CM and they might actually have one.

I don't recall anything at the auction being under or around $100 except the drinks from the bar. lol

I am really excited for all of you all going on this year's member cruise. My DD keeps asking when we are going on the Disney cruise again. We were just on RCCL in March but she was not impressed and doesn't even mention it but she keep asking for her Disney cruise and the last time we were on Disney was last year's member cruise.

I'm really surprised there is no wait list. There always has been in the past. You are right though. Ask a different CM and you might get a different answer.

Mary- Dont you just love all day meetings

Oh yeah they are great fun. We even had a lunch meeting today. The good news is today is my Friday and I have a long weekend!

Do you think they will tell us the theme before we book on Sunday night

Well they didn't care to do it before the 105 day booking window so while I'd like to say yes I doubt it.

Got'em we are safe now

Congrats on the pirate!

Good morning everyone! Happy Friday!

Today's a day off for me. We were supposed to go up to Wisconsin for the weekend but changed our plans. So instead we are having a nice day to ourselves. We're going out to breakfast and then up to the botanical gardens.

PDFG and all our friends who need it!

Good Afternoon or Buenes Tardes (I started taking Spanish Lessons)

Mary - I think I will probably have to get off the ship to check in Matt and Andrew into our room. (I wonder if they would let them get back on with us)

Buenas tardes, Tina! I'll practice Spanish with you anytime.

I asked this on the dining board, but I'm asking here too. Mack and I are Disney veterans but we tend to stick to certain things each time we're there. We're thinking of trying something new for breakfast on the morning of cruise departure. So, for a couple who likes Chef Mickey's but LOVES Kona Cafe (Tonga Toast and Pineapple/macadamia pancakes) what would any of you suggest? Who knows? We might have to hit our old favorite again, but at least we are considering a change for this trip. What say you?

Where are you staying the night before?

If you are in the Epcot area and like character breakfasts you should try the breakfast buffet at the Beach Club. It is in Cape May Cafe and is a lot of fun with a wide variety of food.

If you want something sit down to order off the menu and in the same area we've also enjoyed our breakfasts at Spoodles on the Boardwalk.

Or for something completely different you might want to head over to the port area early and have breakfast at Grills. www.visitgrills.com It is right on the channel that the Wonder pulls out on. We had breakfast there before our May '06 cruise and it was great.

Thanks Mary! We'll be at Boardwalk. Have you ever visited the bakery near there? I read about it today, and it sounds like a good late night snack waiting to happen. We'll have to check the different breakfast suggestions you gave us - thanks again!

Havn't had breakfast at Kona, but love their lunch menu :) How about Trail's End at Fort Wilderness? Great buffet breakfast.

With all the fancy countdown clocks you guys have I am surprized you did not have a countdown clock of the number of hours, minutes and secons until we can book shore excursions.

...Bruce

Annette and I are having breakfast at Cape May the day we sail. I love the breakfast there and the chacter interaction is the best.

Count down we have 48hours and 50 mins

My first DVC membership was at the Boardwalk in 2000, so I have stayed there more than any other resort. The bakery is wonderful; lots of great stuff to enjoy early morning (they open at 7) or late. I get something for breakfast there almost every morning I am staying at BWV. My only problem with them is that they stopped making the incredibly well named "cinnamon yummy.":( I still haven't quite gotten over it.

Cinnamon yummy - sounds delicious! Fort Wilderness could be a possibility. We are thinking we don't want to do a character breakfast, because we know us - at a character breakfast, we will be at the mercy of their timing. We won't be able to tear ourselves aways until we have pictures with all of them. (Mind you we are using this cruise to celebrate being empty nesters!!!) :rotfl2: I am going to look into Fort Wilderness, possible consider the bakery since we didn't realize it was open that early, and of course, contemplate another run at Kona. Kona for breakfast is amazing! We are ones to get to the port early - very early. We love to get on board as early as we can and start learning our way around. We have never sailed the same ship twice - at least not yet - so we don't know what it is like not to have to learn our way around.

Fish extenders - do we know how we are doing this yet or how many people? We want to start buying our things, but we need those details before we do.

It's getting exciting!!!!

Good morning everyone - happy Saturday! Well I must say that yesterday was a great day. We were supposed to be up in Milwaukee for the Nascar races but made the decision to not go because of the storms predicted and a feeling that we just weren't in the mood this year. Turns out to be a great decision.

We started the day with breakfast out and then spent the morning at the Botanical Garden not far from our house. We haven't been there for a few years and really enjoyed it. Would have stayed longer but the rain came in. Since we're going to have the weekend at home with no other plans I decided to do some scrapbooking. I'm so far behind. :lmao: So a quick stop at the scrapbook store, a little afternoon nap and I started up on my 2006 scrapbook (told you I was behind). I got about 10 pages done and hope to get more done today. Great memories.

We watched the race on TV and when they had to evacuate the stands due to lightening we knew we made the right choice in staying home!

WOW - you did make the right decision! Sounds like the Botanical Gardens were beautiful too!

Thanks everyone for the breakfast suggestions. Mack has gone to a ref's clinic, and I am left to make this decision and the reservation if needed. I guess anywhere we choose is going to be fine and fun - it is Disney, after all. Thank you again for all the help! Have a great day everyone. Mary, have fun scrapbooking. If 2006 causes you to say you're behind, I don't even want to talk to you about where I am. DD leaves for college in August, football season will be in full swing - I'll have my Friday nights and Saturdays free for scrapping at that point - at least until my cheereladers start competition season!

Happy Saturday all! We have been back from Mackinac Island since late Wednesday, but I have been up to my eyes with work and friends!

At work the dental assistant that was calling in was let go. So I had alot of catch up to do, while trying to hire a new one. I think I've mainly caught up on the work around the office, I'll be taking off from work this morning about noon. I am still looking for assistant, hopefully soon!

At home with friends, I have 2 girlfriends in from Nashville, and another in from North Carolina! We picked the ones from Nashville up Thursday evening, then had to take Tim's dad back to the airport Friday morning. Then one of them leaves Sunday evening, the other Monday afternoon, and Tim's dad returns Monday evening. Good thing the airport is only 15 min away! So its been a weekend of catch up with old friends! I have had a woderful time, I havent seen the friend from North Carolina for 4 years! She has had another baby in that time that I have never met! But today I will see all 5 of her kids! Last night we went to Giordano's for pizza, and then came back to our house for cards. My girls watched Camp rock with the Jonas Brothers!

We are trying tomorrow night for brunch ressies for Palo! We are on the three night before this, and didnt want dinner so our only option for brunch is on this cruise! Good Luck to all wanting reservations!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
