We can book the private room in Palo now. We did it, we are on the October 24th cruise. Were in cabin 7128. Now we have to start working on Kamy and Steve.

Wow, Amanda, you are right around the corner from Joanne & Roger, Dan & Nancy and me!!! Leisha and Tom are on deck 6 and Mimi and Mack are on deck 2.

You have to ask for them to be made - not something they do regularly apparently - and actually on CC, they make a reasonable facsimile instead of a real one. They have Asti Spumante or champange, peach schnapps, and ice - all blended into a really yummy, light, frozen, cooling, summertime or tropical tasting, fruity delight! On Wonder, the guy at Preludes knew right off the bat when Mack asked and made the best one I had. AP also had one made for me - the first one tasted like cough syrup (ICK!) but then they got it right.

Fish extender gifts - I do not know who gave us the purple binder clips, but I use them to keep papers together when I am bringing them home to grade. Everytime I see that purple clip, I smile, because I know where it came from. I loved the whole idea of the FE gifts, and this one keeps reminding me of being on the ship with such fun and generous people! Thank you!

I can definitely relate! I just finished having an english muffin for breakfast, topped with a little something from a jar that umm... someone left in our FE, I don't have even the teeny tiniest idea who that was (ya, right! ).... And mmm it was good.

Mary, yesterday Mack said, "I really wish Mary and her husband were going on this one too." This led to a discussion about how much we wish the two of you were coming along! We will miss you. Kathy is right - we'll have to put some extra chairs in the water for you!

Well I just got through putting a piece of Pork Butt in my crock pot and trying to do some pulled pork for the first time .We will see a friend of ours in Vermont gave me the recipe.
I hope everybody is having a great weekend. Yesterday we went to football today it's hockey.

Hmmm - which of you actually put this in the crock pot for dinner? Whichever one it was, you now have me wanting to pull out the crock pot. It doesn't quite seem cold enough for that yet. I know it is silly, but the crock pot to me means it is chilly outside. I could make good use of it though if I would put supper in before I leave for school in the mornings. I'd have to make sure I use recipes that allow for 12 hours of cooking though, since that is how long I am gone on Mondays. Hmmm - I'll have to start looking for some new recipes.

Actually the whole thing was Dan's doing - I'll cook whatever else we have with it when the time comes. He's doing now even tho' it's not winter because a friend gave him th recipe last weekend.

So - I e-mailed Kamy and Steve. She said they wanted to cruise again next year in September or October, but they aren't sure yet which cruise. I guess all of us can hope they either make it on the Member cruise (for those of you going on that and not the Bash) or the Bash.
