No shopping with unemployment on the horizon, they actually had the nerve to ask me to help set up new properties for them that they will need come the summer, they are nuts. Of course I am just going along with them. DO they not realize they just fired us and we are pissed. I was on a conference call yesterday and they were joking around like nothing has changed.

Are they offering you a package that has a contingency that you have to cooperate until the end to get your money? If not, you should be able to play with them. Doesn't seem like they are too bright or have a clue what's going on.

ewwwwwwwww no furry here, my boys are very dark haired and before Scott went to work he was furry, big curly head and dark hairy face, but now he is clean cut again.

Don't worry, I am not, it will all work out. They told me if I worked until 5/15 I would get two months severance. I askd them for it in writing. But with so few jobs out there, i am not turning one down if I find one before that. I am just a worrier, so I am not spending any more then neccessary for a while, I kind of yelled at Roger for going to home depot and buying plants ans mulch, he just laughed, he said we have lived on a whole lot less before and we can do it again.

If you find something before that, you should take it.

Obviously Roger wants the yard to look nice That's a really good attitude!

Do you think you will have much trouble finding something else? I would think seasonal employment would be fairly easy to find but not necessarily something you would want to do.

Thanks MIimi, not much inthe upper level jobs right now, a co workers husband was laid off a week ago after26 years starting and running the reservations dept of a large resort manangement company, so now she if she deosn't take the job they offered her she will be out of one too.

There are lots of seasonal jobs for college kids, but I think I will enjoy unemeployment for a while before I think about waiting tables.... I told Patruck I may fight him of rthe beach service job.....now that I might enjoy.

Nancy and I made it back from our long weekend with our summer friends.
We shopped and ate to much. All in All we had great time and we will see them all in July at York Beach.
