Way to go Joanne! Yes, apparently Disney can even make it snow on CC at Christmas!

We are at BWV but I have to wait for Frank to tell me what we're doing that morning!

Once we check in we will be hanging by the pool. I am hoping to get to the outlet first. I need a pirate shirt!

And Joanne she says she doesn't watch the numbers! Congrats Joanne! So where does that put you? Are you back in 1st place?

Well enough of this vacation talk. Now I have to actually go and get ready. I'll check in with you all later. Have a happy Saturday!

I guess I need to get the suitcase out and start thinking about packing.

DS # 1 went ti Mississippi for a footbal game, I hope they can get gas to get home. Some of our stations are out.

Mack is off to ref Pop Warner today. He had a good time on the field last night. I am going to help someone move later then I will be coming home to take inventory and pack what I can - I am thinking I could do 2 dresses on the cruise and not have to take as many capris, so I can keep wearing those to work. I really want to try to pack this weekend or at least lay things out to be packed. Then I guess what I wear to work will be leftovers! :lmao:

The weather here the latter part of the coming week is supposed to be much cooler - lows in the 60s and high around 80, so we will just get a taste of the cool weather before we get on the plane Saturday. Cooler -with a high of 80 - that's Atlanta. Fall in Atlanta means the humidity drops a bit - only a bit - but the temps don't change much.

Good morning again everyone! I go back to sleep for a few (originally woke up at 4:30) and you do a pirate again! :lmao:

Congrats Joanne! I think this brings you to 13 and I believe Annette has 14. The battle is on!

I was looking for the international phone number for the ship. Every ship has one and getting this number is very hard

Good morning everyone! I wanted to chat last night, but couldnt do it from work! LOL!;)
I wasnt able to get the extra day off work, so I am going to have to fit in everything on one day, and try to visit with my inlaws on my work days. Oh well, at least this time next week I will be off work and ready to head on over to BCV for our meet!!!:cool1:

Question about phone calls: we are going to want to call home each night to say goodnight to our kids. Is it better to use our cell, call from the ship, get a calling card, etc????? Anyone done this and can offer some advice?

Hey Mark - I jsut finished reading all the info on the first-time crusiers board. Question - the sea lice thing... SBE - is this different from good ole rumpy-rash? Do you know? And should we bring vinegar and meat tendorizer? Are jelly fish really a problem at CC?

That 888 number is the only number they give out to the public. It is a direct access number to the ship. My brother had to use it once to contact us as the water heater back home had sprung a leak.

Check with your cell provider and confirm they support calling from the ship, most do, that's probably the most cost effective option though it still won't be anything resembling cheap. You can't use calling cards onboard, if you place a call from the stateroom phones it will be very $$$.

Well, if you followed the link to the post about sea lice, you now know as much as I do about them. These arn't full grown jellyfish, they are baby spawns, they basically leave a light rash if they sting you. I think it's the wrong time of the year for them to be showing up at cc, they are seasonal and I thought is was more a spring/summer risk. That sunscreen mentioned, Safe Sea, is pretty prevalent in a lot of the places down in Cocoa Beach if you wanted to pick up some.
