09/21/08 SSMC08 S.S. Member Cruise 2008 - Part 2!

Sorry - I don't have good suggestions. I am bringing pants and a shirt - no hat or shoes as they do take up too much room - will make a bandana as well. I have not actually been to one of these before so I don't know what tricks others may use to dress up without extra props.

So, are you going hatless and shoeless for the whole cruise, or just on Pirate Night?

Speaking of chat - Gary asked in chat last night if there could be a special Member Cruise chat before we all leave. Just for us. I don't think we'd be able to do a night time spot but could possibly do one on Saturday morning or afternoon. What do you all think? Would anyone be available for a special Member Cruise chat next Saturday? I'd have to know in the next couple of days so I could contact admin and see if they could open the room for us. I'd be willing to host.

The tiki's would love to do this but I am not available until 4:30pm or later on Saturday. I officiate youth football until about 3:30pm. Still, if you could arrange one even before that Mimi would probably enjoy it. I say YES!

I am eager to see who is on the sailing. I figure there has to be more than 3 or 4 people and that is all they are hinting towards.....I would love to see another inspiring sports person as well!

Frank & I were flying back from Puerto Rico last April and BUZZ ALDRIN was sitting 2 rows behind us. Now here's the best part: HE WAS WEARING A 'MISSION SPACE' PATCH ON HIS JACKET!!! Is that cool or what?

I have "cruise on the brain"! I am so ready to get packed and go, but since we live locally, I dont have to pre-pack or anything. Got some shopping to do, but nothing major. And since I am off work the day before, I am sure I will have time to pack then. DH says if I start packing now, I will be done now and still left with 2 weeks to go nuts!
