My best friend is doing his 4th tour in the desert, this will be his first holidays away from home, so we are especially sad this time around. We went to San Diego in May and checked out Miramar (no Maverick, though) and we learned all about his deployment, which makes us sort of feel better, but not any easier. He believes in the mission, which makes it easier for all of us to support him, although many people think differently. Next he is off to Okinawa, so we may have a chance at Tokoyo Disney. OH-RAH!

We took him & his wife to Disneyland for July 4th, we thought there was no better way to celebrate our country's freedom than with someone who is on the front lines making sure it stays that way at a classic American landmark.

Way behind so forgive me for bringing up an old post, but yest, the tiki's are dressing up for pirate night - ARRRRRRGHHHH! Avast there lubbers!

We are debating what to do...don't want to bring extra stuff, yet trying to be festive (pirate night and MNSSHP). Any suggestions? I know a tiara is the perfect accessory to every outfit

Boy, I am way behind the times here...I did not find this post until tonight!! What have I been sleeping or what...

I am going to be on the cruise with DH and DD. This will be our 5th Member Cruise and looking forward to it as if it were our first.

We are coming to WDW on the 15th and bringing my brother and SIL to spend 6 nights with them at SSR. Then on the 21st they are flying home and back to work while we jump on the Member Cruise. After the trip we will be getting off the trip and heading back to SSR for two (2) additional nights with just the three of us.

I hope to meet some of you on the ship and the party will begin soon.....

Went to help clean out the cabin and my grandma house which we are putting up for sale. I came home with 6 totes of bells and stuff.
