 Cozumel would be a nice diversion.

Okay, with your track record, should we expect a tropical storm while onboard. ;)

Yes, I agree it will all be an adventure. At least we're not home. As long as we're onboard The Wonder, I honestly don't care where she goes. :cool1:

Carlos & Charlie here we come!

Easy for me to say when we live 5 miinutes from the prettiest beaches. I never get tired of this picture.

:worship: Okay, that picture is just a big tease. I grew up on the Atlantic coast and am now in Texas many miles from an ocean.

It looks beautiful!!!!!!

Well I for one would be disappointed if we were diverted to Cozumel (though I honestly don't think we would be as it isn't close enough for a 4 day cruise).

Is that a frozen drink?

Nope. They are big in New Orleans.

Hurricane recipe
1 oz vodka
1/4 oz grenadine syrup
1 oz gin
1 oz light rum
1/2 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
1 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1 oz triple sec
grapefruit juice
pineapple juice

Pour all but the juices, in order listed, into a hurricane glass three-quarters filled with ice. Fill with equal parts of grapefruit and pineapple juice, and serve.

Yum...... Well off to class I go, happy pirate hunting tonight. Only 15 to go. We have been very chatty today.

What I meant was that they will alter the itinerary if there is a storm a brewin'. We did go to Cozumel on a 4 day cruise on the Magic in September 1999 (those ships can move very fast when they open up the engines) but I think it is pretty unlikely they would ever do that again. I mentioned that as an example, because it actually happened to us. On our 2004 cruise, Jeanne was following us so we did more sea days. We still had fun both times.

I'm happy to leave it up to Captain Mickey! :mickeyjum

Kathy, yeah I totally understand that. I had just heard that on the 4 days the only ports they can really go to are Key West, the Bahamas, and Charleston. I didn't think they could go to as far as Cozumel but I guess they can. Just not a fan of that port but if we did go there we'd just stay on board like we did in May of '06. I'd just be happy to be on the Wonder.

I'm totally up for an adventure as long as we all stay safe. Mark and I drove through some very nasty weather last year and I'm hoping we won't have to deal with that this year. :goodvibes

Can't believe we are already at another pirate. We have become a very chatty group which is not a bad thing at all. Shows we are getting excited about the cruise. :thumbsup2

I am certainly rooting for 2 days at CC! :cheer2: Although, I must admit that I love hanging out onboard the ship, so I would mind any extra time at sea.

Good point that we all need to get to the port safely, so we all have to think happy thoughts about the weather. :sunny:

You're right about that Mary (or Mark) Even I have posted today! (Nancy) I just have to take one thing at a time & now it's time for Florida.

Joanne, love that picture. Hope this Gustav guy misses you. Sounds like it's going straight for NO again - tomorrow is 3rd anniv. of Katrina. How ironic is that!

I just noticed the post #. I'm waiting for the swoopy pirate people to come swooping in...

Or Charleston would be fun as we've never been. Went to SC for the first time after last years cruise but just for a night at HH.
