Hi Debbie! We are doing alright here. Each of us has some variation of a cold. We are just trying to relax and get better before the work week starts.

I noticed that Ian has not been posting much. He is waiting to the end to sneek up on everyone and claim the prize.

Terrie volunteered Wally for getting the prizes for the persons with the most :bride: & pirate: but I think he might be getting a prize for himself or his BFF Junior.

Oh I am sorry to hear the family is not feeling well  Sending a little pixiedust: so that everyone feels better! Yeah, Wally will take care of the prizes but I am pretty sure he would not award himself a prize :rotfl2: I was thinking this year we might add a little "twist" and surprise to the game too :rolleyes1

GOOD MORNING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,
BOYS AND GIRLS!
WE SET SAIL IN 49 WEEKS! THAT IS 343 DAYS!

Yay :cheer2: Can't wait, can't wait!

Since you all were talking about pirate outfits a while back, here is the picture of the SSMC10 pirate night photo. Thank you Michael (Time2go2disney) for arranging this for our group.

So far we have Parasailing, now Eco Jetski Tour, both of which sound solid to us! Who's with us?? :thumbsup2

Anymore suggestions :worship:

I could easily do parasailing again! But I am not getting on a jet ski in the ocean. Ian told us that there is a part where you get off and into the water at a sandbar :scared1: SO not happening!

Terrie, we saw these creatures while playing in the water on the family beach.

Grant it, they are not sharks but a shark could not be too far behind. :rotfl: So, you might as well get up the nerve and go jet skiing. The ocean creatures will get you even if you do not go jet skiing. :lmao: Just kidding.

For those of you that are on the SSMC11 Facebook group...there is an open invitation to upload DCL pictures on the photos page. Please feel free to post any pictures on there that you have taken while on a DCL and/or Member cruise. There are some first timers to DCL and DVC member cruises in the group and it would be nice to let them get a feel for what is in store and for the rest of of us to continue DREAMing about next September! I know that keeping up with this thread is challenging at best and at least on the FB group the pictures can be in one spot at all times  For those who are not on the Facebook group for the SSMC11 please feel free to stop by, it is open to everyone http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=100352840031662

Haha, so wokeup checking the boards skimming in a haze and so thought this was a reference to juniors post on showering. :rotfl2:

T-shirt on pirate night?? Especially when it is talk like a pirate day?? I dare say an exception needs to be made! pirate:

Did anyone else speed read through this today, then have to back up and slow down?

Off to take my dogs to outside agility. They live it! They missed a few weeks when we were down at WDW in Sept. Started additional reads to help me prepare for the cruise. At Castaway, what excursions do you recommend?

I need a little advice. I am trying to convince my husband to do the B2B because it is doable price wise, but we would not be able to get the same room. What are some of the other benefits? I am sure that if I just get the right angle, he would agree?
Thanks

3 days at castaway cay in a week!!!!!!!!

ENOUGH SAID!!!

OMG!!!! THOSE were in the FAMILY beach :scared1: I just might be staying in a hammock all day and ask Wally to spritz me with ocean water periodically next time :rolleyes1

I did do the 2 day snorkeling since it is netted off from the ocean (like the family beach). The first day was pretty cool, the water was like glass and I managed to stay relatively calm even with fishes coming up to ckeck us out. The second day though, not so much :sad2: The wind was up so there were waves smacking me in the face mask and already making me nervous and then my brilliant DH points out a GINORMOUS fish below. It was HUGE. It completely freaked me out and then all of a sudden ALL of the fish in ocean were just way too close and there were too many. The waves made it tougher to swim to the shore and I felt like I was swimming in the same spot and getting no where fast which brings my panic level up another notch. I was crying and close to hyperventilating. Somehow I doubt I will be snorkeling again next year

I grew up for a time in FL going to the beaches a lot, have an 'angel' story (saved by an angel or some really awesome person that dissapeared) when I was young and was getting pulled out (riptide) REALLY far to where there were no more swimmers and I was past any netting. I remember when I returned to the beach finally (after swimming in place a very long time) I had to walk FOREVER to get back to my parents (yeah they had no clue woohoo lol). Ever since then for some reason my fear of sea creatures has scared the bejesus out of me. Needless to say YOU AND I are hanging a lot those days I think!

Jet Skiing IS Awesome!!!

Terrie, you don't have to get off if you don't want to. None of us did when he stopped. We did get off on the other side of castaway cay on the beach. That was cool to get a different perspective of the island!:thumbsup2 but you still didn't have to get off the ski.

Don't worry about your phobias, they won't come into play!!

Yes, and I did send "Irishcowboy" a pm and asked to please link our thread and date to the page :confused3 Maybe if a few more requests are made it might happen. Perhaps my PM got lost or deleted by mistake.

I sent him a message on his profile page so it is a bit more public. I love the fact the moderator I asked to sticky my iPhone app post (was editing first post giving people credit for the good apps I was testing etc to make it easier on readers) and was told 'no one reads sticky's anyway, and too many people ask for stickies and they can't do it any longer' :sad2:
