I wonder if they don't open the terminal until later if they will just have people waiting outside instead of inside the terminal. Maybe people won't tend to show up at the terminal so early. :confused3

Well, I know that I won't be waiting outside the terminal for 2 hours just waiting for them to unlock the doors. That's just nuts. Disney is saying that if you arrive earlier than your scheduled arrival time, you may be made to wait outside the terminal. :scared1: The only way this is going to work is if they actually enforce their rules. And they don't have a great track record with doing that. :confused3

But, if you have the earliest time as your arrival time, you are supposed to get the earliest boarding numbers too. We'll just have to wait and see how it goes. I'll be watching the main cruise board for what people are experiencing after 8/1.

Everyone must be out celebrating!

It's ok. It was 2:00 am and we were traveling about 75 mph. All this traffic including a semi truck came flying up and passed me. Next thing I know there's a state trooper coming. He passed me up then slowed down and pulled me over. Junior thinks he saw the "GTP" on our car and assumed it was us that he clocked. When he told us he clocked "us" at 95 mph, we both repeated it as a question/exclamation. I had my kids (4 & 1 yrs old) in the backseat. Even without the kids in the car I have NEVER nor will I EVER drive that fast! The guy wrote me a ticket and I respectfully told him I was not signing it because it was not my car that he clocked going that fast. So he stood there for what seemed like forever and was probably only 30 seconds and he handed my license and registration back and told me to have a nice evening. (at 2:00 am) :rotfl2: I still can't believe he gave up on the ticket, but I'm very thankful he did. I couldn't take the time off work to go back to Georgia to fight it in court. If I had been speeding, I would have accepted the fact that I got caught but I wasn't. And I know for a fact because we were in a Grand Prix that had the heads up display so I didn't even have to look down at the dashboard to check my speed.

So the moral of the story is don't speed in Georgia. AND be respectful to police officers. Even when they are wrong. :upsidedow

We also drive a Grand Prix GTP. A policeman actually told me that the car looked fast standing still.:rotfl2: Love the heads up display:thumbsup2

Glad to hear that he didn't pursue the ticket. You guys still at Shawn and Milford's?

Thanks! To this day I am still very proud of how I handled myself with the poor confused officer. I actually felt a little bad for him since he didn't actually get the right car...and the guy that was really driving that fast was still on the highway driving that fast. :lmao:

No, we left Shawn & Milford's at around noon our time. Just as we were leaving their house we got a text from the sitter that DD8 was sick. :sad2: She got sick again after we got home and now she's been sleeping for the last two hours. She doesn't have a fever so I don't know what's going on with her. Maybe she's getting Strep throat for the FOURTH time this year. We're supposed to be in the parade tomorrow for our travel agency....not so sure how that's gonna work out if one of us has to stay home with a sick child!! :confused3 :upsidedow But, we'll figure something out. We always do. :goodvibes

Yeah, that is definitely something to keep an eye on!!! If they make you wait outside the terminal....that's an extra 2 hours to spend at WDW or shopping at DTD or Character Warehouse! :lmao:

I just did my online check in for the 15th cruise. I got an 11:00-11:30 check in time. I already did the online check in for the member cruise the first day I was able to do it. I don't know why I didn't just do the 15th check in that same day. Must have only had enough time to do the one.

I'm sorry to hear she's sick. She might be okay tomorrow. It's always something when you have kids, isn't it?

We actually sold that car to Junior's uncle. :sad1: I hated to sell it but he was in desperate need of a car and that was our third car at the time so we didn't NEED it. I miss that heads up display! I wish all car manufacturers would put that in their cars!

That's hillarious that a cop told you it looked fast standing still!!! :rotfl2:

Still love driving mine even after 145,000 miles. The stealth mode is really cool. Freaks people out the first time they see it.:scared1:

Thanks! I'm hoping that she just overdid herself yesterday. While we were visiting with Shawn & Milford my sister in law took the kids to the zoo. There was a heat index of about 100 degrees yesterday. She drank a lot of water, but maybe the heat still got to her. I don't know...that's the only thing I can think could be wrong other than possibly strep throat. She has gotten that three times and doesn't necessarily have a fever with it. If I had known there was so much to deal with when you have kids, I might have thought a little more about just having pets instead. :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Just kidding....I couldn't imagine my life without my kids!!!

:lmao: I know exactly how you feel. :rotfl: It sure is different once they are grown and not living at home. You still worry though - just about different things.

Ok...ours was a 1999....we didn't have a stealth mode....please explain what it is! Sounds very cool!!! I'm so sad that Pontiac closed up. They're the only cars we've driven for as long as I can remember. But....I think we're going to be dodge drivers in the future. I fell in love with the Dodge Journey when we rode in Shawn's & Milford's.

Those days seem soooooo far away, but I know I'll have an empty nest before I know it. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that DS will be in MIDDLE SCHOOL in a month and a half!!! I mean, really....when did THAT happen?! I swear I was just signing him up for kindergarten last year! :rotfl:

I love my minivan(s). I've had 4 of them - all Dodge. Had a Dodge Intrepid between them after the boys were grown but really missed the minivan so we traded it on a Town & Country. Love, love, love it.

Mine is a 2004. Stealth mode turns all the dashboard lights off so the inside of the car is DARK. The heads up display is all that is on and only the driver can see it. The effect is pretty cool. (and it made it easy for the kids and wife to sleep on night trips):3dglasses

And the older they get - the busier you get!

Never heard of that - sounds pretty cool.

LOL!!! We traded in a Grand Prix (the style that had the recessed headlights...LOVED that style) for an Intrepid. I thought I would love the Intrepid because we had it as a rental at WDW and it rode soooo smooth. I HATED it...I wanted my Grand Prix back soooo bad. And when the title came in I found out it had been a rental car at an airport!!!! :scared1: So, I kept it for 3 months and I just couldn't take it anymore. We traded it in for a PURPLE Grand Am. We were so upside down that the only way we could afford the Grand Am was to lease it. So we leased it and then bought it when the lease was up. I loved that car, too...purple is my favorite color. I often had grape scented air fresheners in it to match the purple color!

Well....I better get off the computer for a while and make some dirt pudding for tomorrow. YUM. I don't do the gummy worms in it, but I put it in red and blue buckets and use the shovels from the buckets to serve it instead of spoons. :thumbsup2

You all have a great night!!! And enjoy all of the festivities tomorrow. I LOVE the 4th of July....it's my favorite holiday aside from Christmas. But it's also soooooo exhausting! Our parade starts at 10:00 am and then the fireworks don't start until 9:00 pm, so it makes for a really long day. But, I still love it!!!

It really is pretty cool. You are soooo right about the kids getting older and how life continues to change. Ours are 25 and 26 now, but still love to go to Disney!
Only now they use our points and go without us:confused3
We just booked a Grand Villa at OKW for our son and his friends/business partner. He will be celebrating his 27th birthday. (of coarse we use the points without them too):rotfl2:
