We can always count on you to find great graphics.:cool1:

I've been Googling for 10 years...

OK, it's almost 9PM here and the birds are still singing. Where are my female aviary friends? Please share the love so we can have some quiet time, please and thank you. :thumbsup2

Won't that just lead to more singing birds in the future?:confused3

Sounds like a well thought out plan. Life can be such a challenge. It is cool you guys are all together and have solid family support:thumbsup2

Yea. I have developed daily checklists with the meals pre-printed on them. I will prep pretty much everything he needs including his medication. I am friendly with two of the local restaurants that deliver so I arranged to pre-pay a few meals for him and they will deliver. On the checklist is a note to remind them and the phone number. I have covered everything I can think of down to his rides to church and his dry cleaning getting picked up on Monday while we cruise.

Basically, all the relatives need to do is keep him company and enjoy the benefits of my planning LOL

I am lucky to have some family close enough by that I can use them as backup when necessary.

We're with you there buddy. I'm glad you have family to watch over your father. :grouphug: Both my dads live with us, my father (still working, bless his heart) and my FIL. They get along great. It's a long story, but I'm glad it all worked out. :flower3:
My mother is in a nursing home, my MIL is in Puerto Rico. I miss both of their cooking, and them. So cherish those moments when you can. I asked both of my "dads" if they wanted to come with us in Sept., but my father didn't want to leave mom for a whole week. He sees her everyday, feeds her twice a day. I try to help when I can. My FIL doesn't like crowds, but you'd get a kick out of him.:thumbsup2 An ol' englishman from across the pond, stodgy but he'll give you the world.
and he LOVES the Yankees...shhhh....

I tried to get my dad to come on the cruise with me but he wants nothing to do with a cruise. I feel really badly leaving him behind (I have never done this to him in the 10 plus years I have been taking care of him) but I realized that I need to do something for myself to stay healthy.

So my plan to stay healthy is to go on this trip and drink and eat like there is no tomorrow. I am so glad that I get to do this with all of these nice people here (and the not-so-nice ones too)

Wow that is quite the model of organization. I can see that our pre-cruise meet and greet is in good hands.

I just saw a story on the news with this lady crying and asking for her dog to be returned. It seems that she had the dog with her and left the dog in her car while she went to the store. The car was stolen and she states the dog was like her child.

I am sure most of us completely understand what she is going through and how devestating it would be to have your pet taken from you. My big question is, what was the dog doing in the car, alone, on a hot day like this, while the owner was completely unaware of what was happening not only to her car but to her "child" inside.

Yes, I would beat the thief senseless for taking the dog. Then I would smack the owner unconscious for putting such an innocent soul at risk like that.

Hear Hear!! I totally agree!

The pre-cruise meet is easy. I poll everybody to get a consensus on location. Once the location has been decided, I will see if there are preferences for where to go/what to do. At the end of the day, it will basically end up being us hanging out and doing whatever ends up being do-able.

If we go to the Boardwalk and there are any sports being televised, my safety net is ESPN club :lmao:

I am totally ok with Boardwalk and whatever happens, happens.:goodvibes

I will be waking up for work in 3 hours and 41 minutes and it has been a long day.

I suppose I should let the puppies do their nightly business and then get us all to bed.

Taking my son tomorrow! Gonna check it out in 3D:thumbsup2
I shall have a review and set up the thread for the next
