We've been pretty busy at work lately which is good but really makes it difficult to get on the boards during the daytime.

This thread probably won't come alive until after 10 or so. If I stay up too late then I have problems in the morning trying to concentrate.

Nope, not yet...

I went to the Doctor and he told me he wanted the MRI done (I already knew he would say that) and said his people would schedule the MRI. They tell me that it will be done in two weeks. They then give me a follow-up appt to get the results on July 28.

I went home and called the MRI place. Went there two hours later and got it done. Meanwhile, I called his office back and told them that I needed to change the appt. I said that the rest of this week I was busy so I needed the first appt available on July 5. I will be going at 9:15 am. LOL

I am not one for waiting when it can be resolved faster. I also know that if I need any surgery, I need to get it done pronto so it has the least impact on our trip together.

Actually, it is a girl I knew in High School.

I know this is bad but we went to school with a girl that they used to call Parkay! I think you all can figure that out!

That's great that you could get in the same day you called. Hope you don't have to have surgery but it's good to find out soon. We would hate to have to wait on you (handing you Konk Kooler after Konk Kooler) if you have to recover while on our cruise.

Had to go grab a snack. I did good. Passed on the cupcakes and got some veggies and dip. Found a good dip I hadn't tried before. It an avocado veggie dip with mild jalapenos - really good.

I hope the results don't require surgery! But if they do, I hope you do have a successful surgery and speedy recovery!

My brother is actually having back surgery tomorrow. I'm so worried!!! I guess he's got two discs that are pretty much just floating there and not really attached to anything. He was in a NASTY NASTY car accident ten years ago and has been in extreme pain since. Every doctor he saw concentrated on his lower back and come to find out all the pain is coming from his upper back. We all thought he was just making it up so he could continue his addiction to vicodin!

My boys were into soccer. I do kinda miss going to the games.

Yea. It is this thing that I have developed over time. Somehow, I am usually able to persuade people to accommodate me like that. It does not always work or sometimes I must compromise in the middle but rarely do I hit a brick wall when I try.

Hope you don't have to have surgery but it's good to find out soon.

In a way, I am hoping that I do need arthroscopic surgery. That would mean that they actually found a reason for this pain and have a solution to fix it. If they can't determine a cause, I am left with the pain and ongoing possibility that my knee may fail in a fire situation or create a disability that would keep me from being an active firefighter.

I would not want to impose on any of you to wait on me. That is why I am bringing my brother John, let him do the running for me

You're welcome! Well...I worked on FE's for a little bit. Then we went for a family bike ride to the park. Now we're home and getting ready to watch a movie together. This is the first night our entire family has been home together in.....um.....well....I can't remember the last time!

Baseball is over...no more nights at the ball park this summer. If he had made all stars (which will NEVER happen because he just doesn't have the motivation he needs to make all stars), then we'd still be out at the ball park, but thankfully baseball only takes up our entire Spring and not Summer!

Well...Junior's putting the movie in right now....so gotta run! Make sure you keep the thread going so we can beat the record!!! I'll probably pop back on after the movie. OR if it's a boring moving, I'll pop back on during the movie.
