Congrats to Michael and Mickey.

Although I really think is getting seriously old. Am I the only one who thinks so? :confused3

Congrats on your two-fer!

What's everyone doing for the 4th?

Not sure. The church that sponsors my boys' Scout Troop is having a thing. It's a bring your own food and drinks and fireworks and hang out together thing. So, Stitch and I might do that. Jason has to work, but then again, he's been going in later and working out in the morning rather than working out before work. So, maybe he'll be around after all. :confused3

I will be in Logansport Indiana doing my other part time job on the Fourth. I will be shooting a $6000 fireworks show for the City of Logansport. I have been shooting fireworks professionally for about 20 or so years now. We shoot some electronically and hand fire some others. Either way I get to blow stuff up so it doesn't matter either way. :cool1:

So now you can understand why I get so geeked out at the fireworks at Disney World. I would love to be involved with one of their shows, it would be so much fun. :goodvibes

Very cool!! In Sept 2008, they were doing the big Fireworks Convention thing at WDW and set off a huge amount of them one night. We got to catch that show. It was pretty impressive.

Laura and I drove down from CANADA to do the 4th of July in Boston at the ESPLANADE. IT was amazing.

I grew up in the Boston area. My dad took me to the Esplanade for several years for the Pops shows, 4th of July and others. We camped out there one year, while they still allowed it. We were front and center that year. It was amazing. Quite an experience!

My mom used to take me to the Pops and BSO shows at Symphony Hall. I grew up watching John Williams conduct the Pops. Loved seeing him conduct his own works. I haven't seen him in person, but I _love_ watching Keith Lockhart conduct the Pops on TV. His joy is contagious and always brings a smile to my face!
