I got my prescription for my motion sickness patches in case we need them.

1pirate:

I used to use those...until about my fourth cruise when I started getting ALL the side effects from them! :rotfl: They were AWESOME up until that point. Someone started a thread once asking about cutting them in half....DON'T DO THAT!!!!! You MAY not need them, though. Last years member cruise the water was almost a smooth as glass and we were only traveling at about 6 knots I believe. So, it was the calmest sailing I have EVER been on. I didn't need any meds at all! And I get motion sickness BAD!!

HEY IAN! What kind of waterproof cameras do you have? We bought an Olympus Stylus Tough. I like it so far, except the zoom is kind of hard to operate because it's not the typical type of zoom buttons.

Nancy used some wristbands when we went to Ireland. She said it really helped on the airplane and when we were driving around. (In the most awesome rental car ... a Fiat 500. :thumbsup2 Thank you again Sue!)

I thought saw a couple of disposable simple point and shoot waterproof ones somewhere. :confused3 Just not sure where ...

Sounds to me like your family is lucky enough to have YOU! Most caretakers would just plan to make sure someone is there and make them responsible for everything. Your dad is very lucky to have you!

Not even close! I am lucky to have HIM.

I'm getting ready to take Emilee for a bike ride, but I thought I'd share this incredible news I got today.

Let me start by going back to Labor Day weekend 2001. My brother was in a very bad car accident and was in a wheelchair for a few months. He's been walking with a cane ever since and has been in excruciating pain. He's been to more doctors than I can count on my fingers and none of them have been able to help him. FINALLY a few months ago he found a doctor that gave him a much more thorough exam. Found out he had two discs in his back that were just kind of floating there. So today they went in and did surgery to fix the discs.

So the news is: The doctor came out and told my mom that my brother has had a BROKEN BACK all this time and that's why he's been in such bad pain.

Can I get a great big Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?!

Ok...me and Emilee are going for our bike ride now. I'll be back on later!!

Oh my gosh glad he finally has an answer. I hope he will be feeling better very soon.:yay:
